I love how a wounded bardock charged through an entire army of soldiers by himself to get to frieza despite knowing that he stood no real chance against the emperor everyone feared and yet bardock gave everything he had in a last ditch attempt to save his planet and his people all while wearing a headband smeared with the blood of his fallen comrades. Can’t get more bad ass than that
Honestly might be the most heroic person in all of DBZ, Bardock represents the idea that even doing your absolute best might not always be enough, but at least we can all choose to face death with courage
Characters like Bardock remind me of why I like Dragon Ball. I mean, the story itself isn’t the best imo, at least not compared to other anime I’ve watched, but I’ll be damned if the characters aren’t *amazing* . Moments like Bardock’s rush at Frieza, Vegeta’s Final Explosion, or Trunks’ final stand against Fused Zamasu. Shits great fam
Sorry for replying on your comment after 2 years (and prob ur not getting the notification of this reply) but I think ppl like DB not for their story, but for the characters, they are amazing Goku, Vegeta... even the few minutes Bardock had in the franchise, he has a legion of fans
I was never really a fan of this song but this orchestra made me realize how good it truly is, and now I listen to it. This one is better, but I have both on my playlist.
It's been said before, but he was one of the strongest and bravest Saiyan of the time, not only did he have the balls to fight frieza alone, he did so harmed and basically dead AFTER FIGHTING FOR SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE AND A HUGE ARMY. Goku could only aspire to be what his father was

Would be cool if they pulled this song out when Goku fights frieze black as a call back to Bardock. Edit, never mind I was wrong about him in super showings it was only a small cameos. More stuff was planned but not shown for him.
