And the reasons are many: First: Baran and Dai equlize when they fought each other because Baran put the human heart aside during the battle, and it is known that the dragon form of Baran combines the strength of the dragon, the cunning of the Demon and the feelings of humans during the fight. Second: Baran did not find it difficult to defeat Hadlar when he was in the the super demon form, because the first fought him using the three advantages mentioned above.. And Hadler would have been able to kill King vearn If Zapoera had not intervened then. Third: If King Vearn did not know for sure that he would not survive a confrontation with Baran, he would not have used the trick, I mean the black core, to kill Baran and avoid any confrontation with him. Conclusion: Baran with his human heart and a dragon sword has the priority in eliminating King Vearn with his own wand, but he certainly will not survive his mortal wounds..
Dai with two crests was comparable to a Ryumajin and yet was swiftly defeated by Prime Vearn and would have died had it not been for Hymm, lahart and especially Popp's help Baran with human heart should be comparable to that Dai. Dai only surpassed Prime Vearn when he turned into a Ryumajin himself and even then Prime Vearn was able to fight him with hand to hand for a good while. When Prime Vearn unleashed his third eye, he was above Ryumajin Dai and would have won, had Dai's sword not been lodged in his chest beforehand. The only Vearn i see Baran with a human heart defeating is Old Vearn. ( could go either way honestly) Monster Vearn > Ryumajin Dai > Prime Vearn > Dai with 2 crests =Old Vearn = Baran with a human Heart.

I think that the issue requires further analysis using the critical thinking skills that we need to analyze any anime. Standard Baran defeated the King of the abyss Filzar who is equivalent to young Vearn. Standard Baran is stronger than old Vearn: Super Baran was able to easily defeat super Hadler who was about to easily kill old Vern if it was not intervention by Zapoera. In addition, standard Baran was able to eliminate super Hadler if his sword's sharpness would not have declined after rusting with Kill Vearn's blood. When Dai was defeated by old Vearn, he did not have enough fighting experience at that time, besides that Vern's use of his own magical stick which is stronger than Dai's sword in durability. Even when Dai turned into Ryumajin, he could not find the weakness of super Vearn except with guidance by Baran. Baran excels over Dai in fighting experience, bloodlust when crushing opponent, and individual fight. Dai would not have won any battle without teamwork and side assistance. Vearn avoided a direct confrontation with Baran and resorted to trickery, sometimes with assassination and sometimes with the Black core. Baran and Vearn are both equal in strength and experience, but what distinguishes Baran is his human heart that surpasses demonic expectations. Vearn's expectations were disappointed several times, as he thought, for example, that Dai with two crests is the optimal level of a dragon Knight, and no Ryumajin after that, and he even acknowledged unknown powers of dragon Knights.
@@outoforder9090 First off , thank you for staying respectful my friend ( it's rare in the youtube's comment section nowdays ) Now for the arguments at hand : The Baran that fought Velzar was a young adult , so he should be stronger than his middle aged self , and yes Beings ( at least humans and demons and by extent dragon knights since they are part of the previous 2 ) in DQ do decline in strength once they age , otherwise Vearn himself wouldn't have gone through the trouble of dividing his body in two and keeping his young self sealed at that point in time. Also we don't know the circumstances of that fight ( we only saw few scenes of it ) Did Baran have help from the Dragon riders ? Was Baran at full strength ? Was Velzar at full strength ? Did Velzar have help ? Was Velzar in his prime years or old like Vearn ? Either way , Baran left that fight on the verge of death , had it not been for Dai's mum nursing him to health , he would have likely died . So disregarding my previous questions , we can conclude that young adult Baran >= Velzar.( old or prime is unknown ) Now, that Velzar was clashing with Old Vearn constantly with no one winning , how do i know this ? Because Vearn himself stated that he and Velzar agreed to a ceasefire some centuries ago , and a ceasfire cannot happen if one party is significantly stronger than the other , there has to be some degree of relativity between them for that. When Vearn regained his prime form , he claimed that the last time he did this was several millenia ago ( he was likely weaker magic wise , because while his physical strength was sealed , his magic powers and knowledge/experience were not and kept growing since then ) So since we don't know Dragons life expectancy and cycles in DQ , it stand to reason that Velzar was comparable to old Vearn only. Now for Hyper Demon Hadlar : When he fought Old Vearn , the latter was exhausted from holding the staff of edacity for so long ( from the way he explained it , the power sapping of that staff is similair to the SSJ3 of DBZ) and Hadlar himsefl stated ,that if Old Vearn was at full magical capcity , that Kaiser Phoenix would have turned him to ash. So Baran being stronger than that Hadlar does not mean he's for sure stronger than 100% Old Vearn ( as i said in my previous reply ,i believe it could go either way ). Now for 2 crests Dai vs Old Vearn: Old Vearn started the fight completly serious without holding back ( said by Dai himsefl ) and while yes the staff did help him, it also constantly saped his power , so it's a double edge sword in a way . Also Dai had the instincts and experiences of the previous Dragon knights flowing through him via Baran's crest which allowed him to compensate for his lack of experience. When Dai turned into Ryumajin he gained the last component that Baran had over him whichi is blood lust. So to recapitulate , Ryumajin Dai is above Ryumajin Baran in every stats , and has finally the 2 components that Baran had over him before ( Battle experience and blood lust ) and yet couldn't do any damage to Monster Vearn even with full power Doruaura. Even when Baran , gave him his advice , what happened ? His Dragon sword shattered and Dai was destroyed and crushed and had to result to his previous plan ( which he had before Baran even showed up ) which is taking his own sword and slicing Vearn with it . So Baran really wasn't of any help in that fight ( except for his crest which he passed to Dai of course ) For your next argument , don't forget that Old Vearn avoided a direct confrontation with Avan and sent Hadlar to kill him because he was affraid of him according to KillVearn. Does that mean that Old Vearn would have lost to Avan especially before said Avan got his secret training in? As for Vearn's expectation and whatnot , it was foiled because : -His arrogance ( he could've detonated the bombs way earlier , and had multiple chance to kill everyone face to face ) -Gome ( plotarmor incarnate ) -Sigama's magic shield ( which was crucial in his defeat ) 2 of these were beyond his scope of control. In conclusion , i'd like to say that Dai when he got his two crest , was no longer a Dragon Knight but a Super Knight ( Baran himself said it ) so comparing him to Baran at that point and beyond ( especially in his Ryumajin form ) is like comparing SSJ2 kid Gohan to SSJ1 Goku in the cell games. However, your analysis is full of bias!! You justify weaknesses when it comes to Vearn, but when it comes to Baran or Hadlar you avoid it as if it never happened. ----------------------------- The first point: The issue is not about strength alone, my friend, but about fighting experience gained with age. All fighters grow their magical powers and combat experience, as this is not exclusive to Vearn. The questions posed are assumptions that I can simply make. Did Filzar get help by Vearn or his followers? Did Filzar use other tricks besides the black core? Did Filzar fight in his perfect form against standard Baran? Why didn't Filzar avoid fighting with Baran if he wasn't at his full strength? Is it reasonable that Vearn, the cunning demon, waited for Dai to regain his energy and start fighting him, but Baran did not do that for Filzar? Do you think, my friend, that such questions that can not lead to a definitive answer will lead to an honest result? Isn't this considered branching out and elongating without purpose.. In general, such questions can be avoided if we merely know that Baran did not use his super form in his fight with Filzar, and he was inclined to face to face combat, and did not use trickery. As for Filzar, he was the sole rival of Vearn in the world of darkness thousands of years ago, I mean before the last divided himself, not after that, as the story did not mention there were other leaders. If Filzar was only equivalent to old Vearn, it would have been easy to fundamentally eliminate him before the division, especially if Vearn took advantage of Filzer being half his strength as you assume, and even Mest Vearn who is stronger than old Vearn could have been sent to settle the matter!! Just contemplate!! The outcome of any battle is natural, or do you really, my friend, think that standarad Baran would not have died after using the black core by his enemy against him?! Even if we assume that Filzar is half its strength which is a far fetched assumption... ----------------------------- The second point: Just think about my question!!. Standard Baran eliminated Filzar who is comparable to old Vearn - as you say - although using the black core!! So how do you conclude that Super Baran is only comparable old Vearn?! Rather, this is evidence - according to your analysis - that Standard Baran can easily defeat old Vearn if the last does not use the core .. Therefore, it is obvious that Super Baran can defeat young Vearn, otherwise this means that Mest Vearn is stronger than Super Baran!!! Conclusion.. Super Baran with his human heart and the full power of the Dragon Sword and his fighting experience will defeat Super Vearn with his full strength, but he may not survive his fatal wounds.. ----------------------------- The third point: Dai did not have experiences of the dragon knights!! This assumption made by old Vearn to such an extent that he thought this was the ideal power for Dai and no Ryumaijn after that, but rather mocked Dai when he knew that Dai wanted to show him a new power, but Vearn later admitted that the dragon knights unleash frightening powers in Critical times.. Didn't you see how standard Dai with modest experience was able to burn old Vearn with one blow despite the last used his own stick!? In addition, the strength of Old Vearn + Young Vern + Super Vearn are close, the only difference between them is the firmness of the body.. ----------------------------- The fourth point: Super Hadlar supposed that old Vearn was about to finish him off, and you missed here, my friend, the same thing that you did with the battle of Baran and Filzar, the black core at that time inflicted severe damage on Super Hadlar and drained his energy, but he did not finish him off, also, Super Hadlar had escaped with his life from battle with Super Baran.. So Super Hadlar had not the full power as a super demon, yet old Vearn's end was undoubtedly imminent despite him using the magic stick.. Im afraind youre wrong, is it stated that all of the Dragon Knights including Baran toss their humanity aside when using Ryumajin, because all of them thought that the humanity side was weak and unworth. Dai is the very first Dragon Knight to use the strenght of all 3 races in his Ryumajin form, so he is the perfect Dragon knight. Baran, even tho giving Vearn a really tough fight, might have fallen in the end.
@@jeuneinnocent3978 He needed the Scabbard to enhance the lightning, yes, but he still needed aura to make his attack as effective as it was. He didn’t just use Giga Break. He used a mix of Giga Break and Avan Strash.
@@shibathesamurai9893 Magic and touki are diifferent things, and his sword techniques don't require touki anyway. Giga Break doesn't require a lot of magic because he only uses raiden as a spell, the rest is just sword technique.
@@jeuneinnocent3978 First, only Earth and Wave Slash don’t require Aura. Second, even if it wasn’t required to use Aura to use Giga Strash, it doesn’t change the fact that he used Aura for his final strike against Hadlar.
