So I finished my Mystic Quest Randomizer stream earlier today and decided to raid someone playing Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors. While it's a bit of a meme game for it's flailing motion controls, I'd honestly forgotten how good it looked and especially how good the battle theme was.
So, after the usual searching for and not finding an extended version, here you go.

Still got my copy from 13-14 years ago, such an underrated spin-off in the series, I love it. I would love a VR remake or sequel honestly lol.

For one of the worst selling games in the franchise, it certainly has a fantastic battle theme.

It is a literal crime that Square Enix hasn't made Dragon Quest Swords 2 yet. Sword & shield control on separate hands, magic & more weapon combinations, hammering out your own customizations as you upgrade your stuff, there was so much left to explore.

Bro I’ve been a dq fan for like 5 years now and i never knew this existed 💀 this is so good when I saw gameplay and this battle theme I was like yup I’m buying a Wii as we speak 🔥🙏

It's not a bad game, but it's also fairly different. The one downside is that it is an early Wii game and so Motion Control Plus wasn't a thing yet, leading to some fairly inaccurate movements when slashing at high speed. No matter what, though, get ready to give your arm a good workout when playing.

Hopefully they reuse Sugiyama's previous tracks along with whatever he already had composed for XII and beyond. We're still gonna have good Sugiyama soundtracks in Dragon Quest games before it becomes soulless like the rest of Square's modern titles. :)

@@BlueMoonXtreme I highly disagree, several of modern Square titles have fantastic music. And as much as I love DQ music, the repeated tracks is getting a bit old. I think it really use a fresh viewpoint.
