Best guide yet, I beat the game and got the long ending without doing any of this- I missed all of it. I'm in NG+ now with over 600 WLC's burning a hole in my pocket.

So I went to the spot where he said the dragon always is at and as I approached I watched it drowned in theRiver/pond🤣

For upgrading materials you can buy dullahan bones from a merchant in ancient battleground he’s walking there day light it’s prolly random when I saw it I bought it right away

Newgame+ adds more upgrades like vocation base stats upgrade when you level, skills upgrade (only chose 1 skill), 4 buffs you can buy that last a day (increased exp, stamina recovery, discipline and affinity) and an option to remove all smithing upgrades.

Where is he during end game? I came across him at the beginning of end game but don't remember how I got to him.

I honestly kinda hate the shimmering pattern after dragonforging, it really looks stupid imo.

I LOVE this game, but I miss the dragon forging from the first game. Let you have a low chance rng to upgrade gear for free...

I cant even find some of the mats for normal upgrades and theres no info on where to find anything on the interwebs lol

Do dragons respawn, or is it a 1 time kill ?

Check "Read More" for this comment if you don't mind spoilers for materials/game interfaces/rewards, click at your own discretion: - Be sure to do all the quests/side quests you can do before post-game, they will make post-game much easier. If I say anymore it will give things away. - Boss that causes the post-game transition will give you 100 Crystals. - You get more crystals (anywhere from 200-300 iirc) for completing post-game quests. Be sure to do them all and start with the ones at the extremities (far south then far north) of the map (there will be one that might not register on your map at the base camp at the foot of the mountain, be sure to go there asap). - It might be worth considering to use Thief pawns as I have >heard< (not confirmed for myself) that you get more crystals during certain encounters if the Thief pawns have the passive Steal skill. - Post-Game adds weapons and armor to the merchant's inventory and carries over to NG+. - NG+ gives you access to "boosts" to your vocations and skills (I am not entirely sure what skills do but from what the boosted vocation description reads as, you get stat boosts if you're leveling with the boosted vocation). There are also day-long boosts that you can get, that don't seem worth it at all unless you have all the Crystal Items you want and don't want the money you can sell the Crystals for.

I hate how beating the main boss doesn’t dragon forage your equipment

I have a pro tip for you elite gamers: do not bother maxing out your equipment. You will ruin the challenge of the game for yourself. Especially if you main a thief, warrior, archer, or sorcerer. You seriously do not need the last like, 30 or 40% of your attack stats. You will trivialize every single enemy in the game and find yourself either getting bored to tears or going back and equipping sub-optimal equipment. This game has baffling design decisions. It being this insanely easy is a far cry from most JRPGs, and the decision to limit character build options by arbitrarily limiting active skill selection to 4 slots not only makes for a frustrating experience in general, it basically single handedly ruins the advanced endgame vocation. So take it from a guy who wasted a bunch of time making the numbers go up, just stop. Stay humble and continue to enjoy this flawed gem without turning it in to a god mode sinulator. Unless that's what you're in to.
