@@kadircelik9602Considering Amadeus' past and what we get to see in his journal I think it's pretty safe to say that he wanted to be a hero. We know that he and alteon (and probably lynaria, not sure if it's DF cannon) were travelling heroes that overthrew the tyrant slugwrath, aka drakath's father. In his journal he writes "In another time and place, I could have saved her back then. I could have been the hero", which refers to him losing lynaria and becoming a doomknight instead of saving her and becoming a hero. He always wanted to be a hero, he was betrayed, lied to, and defeated, and that led to him seeking the power of darkness so he would never be too weak to lose anyone again (at least according to the irismancer)
@@kadircelik9602 I mean, there's tons of people he has issues with and who thwarted his plans, yet the odd particular malice and insistence on using the term *"Hero"* for our character with a sour face, combined with his diary entries and life, certainly seems like he did. Even the very reason he donned the DoomKnight Armor at first was to save Lynaria
Idk about you guys but I was totally shocked when I saw akriloth jr pop out of nowhere. I had NO IDEA they'd bring him back from book 1 after all these years
I still remember the old interface from 11-12 years ago when I was on Sir Noob’s Cliff, Facing The Priestess, her friend the game mascot red dragon and Twilly, the helpful healing moglin… Good memories…
Hell yeah this was a very nice quest, I was so excited to see Walic, Xan and Jaania working together to stop the Aequilibria, and was excited to see Akriloth Jr after so long absence. Hope the final quest will be as epic as this quest
This feels sad, we have a complete UI now, everything looks smooth but we still have incomplete questlines and stories. I also notice the Remix of the dragonfable theme while fighting. It means we're going back to the beginning if the final battle has begun.😢
Spoiler alert: Holy cow: so when Warlic pointed out that Aequilibria can generate mana to a much further degree than Infernals, does that mean it is a bigger threat than Wargoth himself was?
There were two entire races of endless mana batteries known as the Celestials and the Infernals the majority of them died fighting Aequilibria to power an exalted Canon that could only put god to sleep for awhile. Simply put Wargoth is nothing compared to Aequilibria.
So, after that last episode I started imagining how we were going to explain wtf happened to everyone. Played out here almost exactly as it did in my head. This is looking considerably bad, But damn if it doesn’t feel like I’m being a hero when I play this quest.
So after all these Jaania the B is just going to sacrifice herself? Bit anticlimactic, same as Akanthus. Hmmph, I liked Book 1 ending better. P.S: Yeah yeah , I know they kept a door for their return open yet.
