More like how to trick others to think they scammed you while they are actually grinding and leveling up for you before you regain the account after 8 yrs by contacting the support team
I almost got scammed but my own stupidity saved me XD So basically I was at my house and got a whisper like you did and he said he wanted to swap accounts (he was level 50 and I was level 40). I was 10 so my understanding of the world was still, "Everyone is so nice!" so I gave him what I thought was my password (turns out I changed it) and he gave me his "password" I failed to log in to his account so I logged into mine and he said I gave him the wrong password. Then my brain finally worked and I said that the pass he gave me was a fake too and then I left. I shoulda reported him XD
The fact they did that for you after all that time is just spot on great service. I do have one question, why did he scam your account? If you were just a poor 12-year-old kid, what was so special about the account of value?
I lost 2 accounts around 2010-2013 and I made a new one in Feb. 2014. now, I'm a big boy helping newbies in the game to get what they want and teach them how the scammers work. Btw, nice recovery Shiminuki.
This actually happened to me as well back on 2011. I got my account back on 2017 thanks to player support as well. Its so great to hear that you also got your original account back. Congrats mate.

I really don't understand why people steal accounts on AQW, there's no incentive to do so. You don't get any cool items, because those that will fall for a scam are usually really noob, and you can't even trade those items back to your main!
Man We really have the same story mate. Got scammed, Quitted the Game, Still played DF, I came back during the Dragon Lord Chaos Saga cuz I thought it was cool After 10 years I decided to retrieve back my account just yesterday to see what had it become. And Voila Level 35 with Lightcaster 😂 P.S ( My main now is Level 75, Still farming stuff though)
That'a actually pretty cool that you got your account back after 8 years. I once was playing a game calles 4Story where my account got stolen and then banned. I conntacted support numerous ammount of times but they never gave me my acc back. Im really glad to hear that AE do what they can in order to help players instrad of getting rid of the problem by saying "Sorry, nothing we can do."
Actually AE doesn't help players, all they need is the original email used in creating your account (which is something hard to remember for so many people like me ;-;) but if you cant remember it they say "Sorry, nothing we can do."
Still waiting for that seasonal farming class overview. But great video, no one ever tried to scam me, but i died enough times and saw death enough times telling me not to give my pass to not account trade with any1
HAd the same thing happen to me back in the day roughly the same time as yours. I sadly fell victim to the same type of scam and lost my account. Made a brand new character for a few months before realizing I could recover password using my saved email address. It was the best feeling getting that account back after so long.
Exactly the same for me. I was scammed, created a 2nd account that is my main account today. I know very well the feel of being scammed, and worst, the scammer laughed at me via chat lol.
I remember the time i almost lost my main acc to some guy who "want" to give me acs but luckily that guy just change the password not the email and yes i already confirmed my email that time so i easily got back my acc and i actually meet the guy 1hr later and *I HIT DEM REPORT ON HIM*
Someone once offered me Free acs. i gave him my password(i wasnt playing a lot that time) 2 months later i found out that he actually got me about 3.9k acs( he had blue ledgermayne outfit)
@@amrizfikri932 not sure if ur going to see this but that actually happened to me I forgot my old email password and contacted player support and got it changed to my new one, just had to provide enough information so they knew it was my account
Hilariously, this is the exact same story I went through, except that my acc had been scuffed a few days beforehand by my cousin for shits and giggles, so I didn’t lose anything..... except first upholder 😭
I got scammed too when I was younger and rage quitted this game for a while. but First, I logged in my alt account and Reported my main account so many times that they got it banned. If I couldn't play with my account, I would NEVER ALLOW anyone to play with it. now my alt account became my main account and I'm extremely satisfied with it.

happened to me in 09 as well, he was wearing the ranger hat. i hate that hat now. my mum was able to get the account back tho thankfully cause i got membership for my birthday the day before
Dude I fell for the same trick awhile ago and I wore the exact stuff your discord friend wore hahaha! Now I got a 6 year main acc wich is in use to this day.
Same thing happened to me! Oh my god the exact same story! Except that my main got disabled because the scammer used a credit card fraud. My alt is high-tier now though
I wish this was as easy in league of legends. A couple of danish sceemers hacked me after beeing friendly to me for years. And well, 6 years later, it still is not accessable.
I was 12 when this happened to me, luckily I did get my account back. Unfortunately, he had deleted all of my items. UNFORTUNATELY DARKSIDE CLASS WAS DELETED. I’m still upset about that
This happened to me back in 2009 just after I bought a yr worth of membership because they had paladin class and I didn't and I didn't know how to get it. They didn't even use my account so it was just sitting there for a year and I didn't get to use my membership lol. Managed to get the acc back through support.
i remember myself from this video of Shiminuki when I was 12 yrs old I was eagerly trade account with someone who has royal battlemage then when we succesfully trade later that moment the account i got for the trade already been like in the video ...that's why I'm frustrated so I also learn my lesson ....
LMAO this was so relatable. I lost my old account that I made in 2008 in 2011 . I was told by someone they would give me 12k acs and I would be able to buy the class I wanted so much at the time because it was so good for pvp at the time, ( trollspellsmith) . Being so young and dumb I gave the dude my password in doing so I lost my card clasher, beta account / beta berserker/ alpha pirate/ undead goat/ vampire/ witch / dark caster/dark side/1st star sword/red star sword-quibbles first shop/bright skull retribution, and my favorite thing of all I lost was undead leprechaun class as the st patties event in aqw was the first event that really gave me a lot of fun and desire to play aqw. The aqw event for St. Patties day had me picking that as my favorite holiday as a kid just for the event I knew that would happen every year on aqw . But I was lucky to have made an alt during 2010 which is the account I play on now, While I don't have as many og stuff I have a lot of what are now considered very rare items which is exciting being as I just came back to aqw from a 6 year break.
What a coincidence... I got mine scammed 3 months before chaos dragon lord event release ended. The difference is that I got mine back in 2 years later, thanks to me really "Trying to find a way" but also have an alt account at the same level as my main account. Plus, saw a guy that bought my account from my scammer and traced him there then busted my scammer's main account by requesting a perma ban from AE.
My main got scammed too because of some website that shows free ac's, but I tracked the scammer using my alt accoun and he offered me another account to trade to my main, I agreed because it was better than my main but eventually after several weeks it got hacked again, luckily I discovered the AQW support and then got back my main account. 😊

Honestly i had the same problem and i quit the game but one day i felt nostalgic and i got help from player and i got it back. i still play occasionally but i remember how happy when i got my account back.
Yeah same; I lost my old account to the same type of thing but my friend got me in trouble. I also made the same comeback story type thing and made my new account BETTER!
I once had 3 different accounts made in 2008, with one of them having the beta berserker. No clue what one of accounts was named, beta berserker got disabled for information sharing, and my third account got scammed just like this lol. However after hearing this story, I might want to try this stuff as well, even though I only remember the name of my beta berserker lol.
Learned my scammer lesson a long time ago, Runescape days. Fell for the classic "Want me to trim your armor?" scam. Never again after that. Heh, to be young, ignorant, and in awe at the appeal of promise veiling a malicious practice.

exactly what happened to me. i had my account scammed when i was 9 years old because of someone giving free "ACs". Been using alt accounts since then. Now Im 22, i found out about artix support recently this month of june!! And I had my account retrieved after I provided information ! :D Im so happy for the fast responses from artix support. after more than a decade, i had my account back ! :) NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD!!!!! HHAHAHA
Something similar happened to me the difference is that it was a friend who told me that he knew how to get me the Chronomancer class and well... the class looked cool so i gave him my password and if you see my Charpage: Douglarce2, you can see a really special and rare badge that it says "Cheater" :)
Happend to me once..downloaded the oh so famous "Free member ship and AC hack." I mean the edgy music was just so compeling and mind numbing to my 13 year old mind I just had to press the download buton and fill in my account info...and there went my OG mortwin acoutn with legacy of Nulgath...BUT THEN player support happend AND BAM after 3 years of dormancy Mortwin was back..that same meek level 36 Mortwin is now a strong level 70 sepulchure orginal helm owning mortwin.
i had the same story but mine was a bit interesting. i lost my account due to someone saying free acs when i was like 10 and about 6 months later i made a new account which is my main today, but the funniest part about how i got my main account back without verifying the email, on my new main account i was playing the mogloween event in 2013 and found my old player running around i private messaged him and added him on facebook then he threatened to hack my new account if i didnt just give it up, so i took screenshots of the chat and showed it to support and got my original account back.
can we have a moment to think about how AQW was released in 2008 and is still live to this day while flash player doesn't exist anymore and has more active players than battlefield 3 and 4 servers combined O-O its such as good game in my opinion :D
Different story: quit the game because of GAW 2, no email account, for some REASONS, I decided to play back with my alt acc (but I didnt finish its story line, weak items, stupid name, etc). So I contacted them, provided items and how I progressed in story line. I got it back lol ENERGY_WARRIOR
It happened to me too, I can't remember filing a report, I moved on with another account, then I tried to see if my account could be recovered and found they disabled the account for the one who scammed me, So with a few years of experience and less childish I managed to get my account back, still had undead warrior since it came out haha, And used it to join the legion, back in these times the legion didn't even exist
At least you got yours back.. the help support in aq didn't believe me even though i told them everything the previous username and password including the previous email that i used to activate the account plus equips plus all the history of all the bots i used. They be like nope still doesn't prove its yours I was like wtf. From there i gave up on the game completely it was 8 years ago the cap back then was 20. And yes its the free ac bs scam but this one created a website where you need to input everything i believed it because it looks exactly like a legit website.
0:55 rip my old account. i didn't have email back then so i just use random email. i gave my acc to a friend a school. and ... 5 days later i lost my account.
i just want to share my story. i lost my old acc ( in progress to get it back in artix help thx to this vid) then i made the new one, now the new acc is lvl 97 ( and still farming for vhl)
