Beautiful location,. I fished my Darth Quattro last weekend, I love that rod at its full length. I believe it's their best rod.

how do you compare this to the quattro? I mostly fish creeks exactly like this, except maybe a bit thinner and deeper. I love my 5:5

I love my Quattro…apples and oranges though. Needed the extra length here because they were so spooky and water so thin.

@@tenkaraonthetrail good to know they aren’t fully comparable. Dragontail rods aren’t too expensive especially for the first round of rods so I think I’ll pick this one up!

Dragontail is providing updates on the estimated production time frame on their website. It was pushed back a little to prioritize another rod that is coming out first.

Ur big fish are small to me I'm sure I'm talking 24 inch plus well fed trout I can take u places and u would throw that rod away cuz getn snapped off so much

That isn’t my big fish rod…I have rods that will handle 24” rather easily, with current, or a 10lb carp without a problem. That’s a common misconception that Tenkara rods are for small fish. You aren’t the first to think that. They can handle steelhead, bonefish, carp, bass, redfish, and others. It’s also more challenging and fun than relying on a reel’s drag.
