Draining beaver dam. It's always surprises me how much water is there. It's never ending stream. Water coming from 2 sources and both sources meets right next to beaver dam.

Ok lady's and gentlemen I live in Australia I once was paid to clear dreg and clean all sorts of water ways to reduce flood risk what Keni is saying he doesn't get payed to clear these dams that 99% of them will just be rebuilt by the beavers he supplying a free service to his fellow country men (farmers) in his area he is doing his best just to reduce flooding to farm lands and to fields road and things in the area he will never stop it all he can do is his best to reduce the amount of water and to get it temporarily flowing I am sorry but unless you have never been in his situation you need to understand he just need to get water moving and reduce the height of the water until him or the farmers can repeat the process over and over unless all the beavers are killed or relocated to somewhere else that they will just do the same give him a brake and support a guy that's out there trying to make a difference not in just what he is doing but to the lively hood of the people and farmers that are suffering because of what the high waters cause anyway God bless you all and much live from Australia 🇦🇺 to all

What I missed most in the last few weeks was you talking to us, the viewers. You have busted way more beaver dams that anyone commenting on how you should do the job. I know that you are correct, the beavers will Not reuse sticks from their last dam! Must think that the wood is rotten, or something. Channel is still growing! Be safe.

Ola Kenislovas, I love your videos and watch them multiple times. As far as giving "advice" (yes I am being kind to your viewers) you are absolutely correct, if we are not right there beside you how can we possibly know what the conditions and topology are? In fact, I would bet that most of the ones that give "advice" probably have never even seen a Potatoe Rake. Those that do not watch the complete video are missing most of the relaxing sounds of water and nature. Your videos are always wonderful and the lands of Lithuania are beautiful where you live.

Great job. As to removing the whole dam: in this video you said something that makes all the difference about what you are doing. I'm sure that I'm not the only one of your regular viewers who also watches another site where the dams are completely removed. The big difference is that the other videos are by someone who IS being paid by the local governments to remove the dams. Thank you for explaining.

The most important thing is that you got the water flowing again. Who cares if you miss a bit of mud at the bottom or a couple of sticks? You do a great job and both your viewers and the farmers who you are helping appreciate it.

Well, in MY case, I tend to watch your videos in batches. I have to find the TIME to watch them, of course, and so what I do is set up a temporary play list and just let them play while I'm working, which means, of course, that I don't always watch your vids right when they come out. ...and also...haha...I might miss things if I'm concentrating on my own work when it goes by in your video. But I DO love the drone video footage, because it's beautiful, but also because it helps me make sense of what you're doing down on the ground.

You have the close-up perspective. You are right up to those tall dams and see the sticks and mud and how they are intertwined. Some of the dams are quite intimidating with their height and the knowledge that there are meters of water depth on the other side and kilometers of water pressure behind the dam that will rush forward. The collapses are amazing. You stand on the precipice of real danger. Therefore your decision on how to dismantle a dam is yours. You have the experience and knowledge.

I really enjoy watching you take apart beaver dams every day. It's very relaxing, and you do a great job. I have a question. When you are busting the dam, you let a lot of the debris flow downstream with the water, rather then pulling it to the side. Has that ever caused a blockage downstream where all the debris causes a dam somewhere downstream?
