The law in my state is that you have to slow down and move over to the left if possible. You could definitely get a ticket for being the jerk who doesn’t slow down.
ikr and always offer them a drink or something you have with you cause this man is working for free you guys. We should make this channel go viral so the govt starts paying him for al the services!!!!
And if it happens to be cold out, and and a coffee shop happens to be nearby and open, don’t just give them some cash to get coffee. Buy them some hot coffee and BRING it to them. And I’m sure no one will complain if you pick up some hot pockets for them while you’re at it!
Each single drain is designed to clear flooding within 5 to 15 minutes. In my area we never get basic stormwater drain flooding because of how they're designed in the first place, but if they ever do flood up it's just cleared in 5 minutes.
@@martinkilleen7607 he literally does this so it doesnt get dangerous like a car hydroplaning. Standards for a hero are set by everyone, yours is a burning orphanage hero.
I get so mad at the disrespect some people have for hard workers like yourself. You and every other blue collar worker are the backbone of this country and deserve some respect
Nice! Fun story: A couple of days ago i was unblocking a flooded shallow road-side ditch. It was dark and rainy, but only about 8:00 pm. A black car drove by 5-6 times in a short time while i was working. Later when i was looking on a field that usually floods a police car stopped and the officer said that someone (99% likley that it was the black car) had called about me digging in the said ditch. Now, the thing is that i was wearing high visibility clothing and a very bright headlamp.
More blocked drains I see. Today where I live, it poured rain and I was clearing a small culvert that had got clogged by lots of garbage and debris that flowed from the woods, like it flooded so badly that water was going through peoples back yards and through the road but I saw it flooded and I quickly took action, sadly I couldn't film it because I didn't have my tablet with me at the time, but at first when I always saw culvert or storm drains clogged, I'd always ignored it but u inspired me to unblock them because flooding can cause major damage. Thanks for being a hero.
Your city or town needs to give you an award for being the most caring citizen. You could have saved people from a major accident or if your cleaning in town possibly finding a drain that is completely blocked causing backups and flooding homes or a business. Rake that drain!!!👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁
He should receive some sort of recognition for saving several million dollars in repair construction when he found that collapsed culvert from the lake. His work potentially saved lives, a big flood, property damage, massive construction and so forth.
what's most impressive is this isn't a single town or even single area, he covers many many towns in 5 different states. at this point, i'd say he deserves some sort of federal recognition for all the money and potential lives he's saved
I can't believe how rude that driver is just driving fast and splashing you that's not nice...... Great job by unclogging the drain love all your videos so satisfying.
Hell Yeah, great job. I just wanted to say "Nice car drivers there". If you find any sarcasm, you can keep it ! I even let the ads run to help with the channel.
Dude, are you me? I just watched Mustie1 fixing his old marine engine and now I'm watching post 10 creating some excellent whirlpools. Today is a good day.
Hi Post 10. I admire your dedication at work and I hope you get rewarded for it. Please dont get sick from all these stuff that you do. We, your overseas viewers care about you. Take care
I don't know whether to hate you or love you. I've binge watched everything to date over time. Yes. There is something gratifying and mesmerizing watching you work, then the drain slurping away while the water level drops. Yes, I magnet fish also.
Watching you rake away the mud and dirt, and watching the water drain is calming. I find it almost meditative. My worries and troubles are being washed away. Everybody loves you and what you are doing. Keep up the generous work.
Good to see another video of you out there tryin to keep the streets safe for motorists. It's just sad that some of them are jerks and dont care enough about your safety to slow down and not be jerks. Keep up the good work man.
I mesmerized by the whirlpools! Hats off to you, good Samaritan! It bothers me when people fly by you knowing they’re about to soak you without any regard. Still, you stay focused and contribute positively to your community.👍🏻
This road seems to give you a lot of work! All the leaves, needles and dead grass are blocking the drains. And I reckon the problem reoccurs everytime it rains because there are trees everywhere. Bye, take good care of yourself, keep it safe!
Good work! Thank you buddy for: 1. Giving us videos of something positive being accomplished. 2. Giving the driver's by a quick thrill to splash you. 3. Putting non-interesting content at the end of video when RU-vid overlays it with other things. 4. Learning to do things better, like using your rake instead of shuffling your feet with a flooded drain, then removing the debris afterward, so to avoid blocking a drain like you showed in one of your previous videos. 5. Demonstrating that there are good people in the world, who want to do good things.
Oh my friendly neighborhood road hero!! I love you so much. Thank you for being just the motherflippin' best. And as always please stay safe out there my love. ❤️😘
Some people were never taught manners by their parents, people slow down please, if it wasn't for kind people like Post 10 then you would be stuck with flooded roads. Good job, you make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖
You must get as much satisfaction clearing the drains as I do watching you clear them, I think I’ve almost watched all the videos on your channel and I only discovered you in the last two weeks, I like your commitment and your attitude, I think many of us could learn a lot from you. I hope the locals pay you some compliments from time to time, your work and dedication is greatly appreciated.
I wonder if the people who lived in this area thanked t his person for he did. I wanted to do this one time when my front yard was flooded, but the wife told me to keep my arse in the house. Thanks, young man for the outstanding job you did.
On this video, I miss hearing you comment as much as you usually do. I wonder what was going on for you that day, whether maybe you were having a tough time for some reason. Whether or not you were, you still got out there and helped your community. That's beautiful, and something for me to keep in mind when I'm having a tough day. Thank you for what you do.
This reminds me of Aug of 23 in South Eastern Mass where i am . Its awesome what you do to keep the existing infrastructure in tact and safe to operate our vehicles on Post. Thank you. S
Why have I been binge watching this channel on my day off? How did I find this channel? Why are these videos so satisfying? What did society do to deserve this person?
It's the falling leaves that cause the water to clog.....it is really THERAPEUTIC to watch your videos!!...I feel kind of relieved after watching the water flows so fast..."YOU ARE REALLY A SAVIOR!"....GOD PROTECTS YOU!!!
Me at first glance = rake better!! ....... then it hits me that he's doing this one handed and holding the camera with the other.... So props to him for one handed rake work.
Your channel amazes me. I'm in the pipe working business right now, and watching these videos helps me understand my job. I tell myself at work, why do we put it in like that, then shove a 12 inch pipe in the ground. I would never realize how much pressure builds up!
I will watch every ad completely because you do such selfless acts for your community. I wish you could be compensated properly for all your work. Stay safe Post!
You do a great job man. I don't know what it is but I really enjoy watching you clean those street drains and I will continue to watch your vids and like them so hopefully you can get some type of reimbursement for the great work you do.
If I could afford it, I would SOOO buy you one of those trucks with the built in professional power washers with like a million PSI to not only unclog the grate but spray away all the dirt and pine needles at a car wash level! That would be beyond EPIC!!! $100 bucks per grate all day long!!
I wonder if anyone has ever called your local DPW or Highway Dept to compliment them on the nice young man who's doing such a wonderful job clearing the flooded streets and they were all "Wut?"
btw, because of you I now clear the storm drains every time I pass my them when I walk my dog. Trying to keep ahead of the flood, so to speak. I clear them with my cane, but hey, it works!
Dear Post 10, I know there are people out there who doesn't appreciate the things you do and I even if I had been living overseas for a while, I want to say thank you for caring for the environment and at the same time keeping people safe against road floods. I do hope and pray for your safety out there. We admire your dedication and commitment on your job 👏👏👏👍
Yea.... this is our tax dollars hard at work..the cities and counties should have a few people that specifically do shit like this.. instead of having us do it. They have no problems taking our taxes from us..yet cannot supply something basic such as this.
You thank us for watching at the end. I like the whirlpools, the air escaping & its bubblings, the sound of water making its way into the drain, the culvert making gulps while guzzling up all the water. It is all just so nice. But just not you getting splashed. Yet after you get splashed, you still soldier and continue on after some venting. A job whale done, post 10. Thank YOU
I'm watching someone clean storm drains to clear flooded roads. Why? Why, I ask you, am I enjoying this so much? Have my subscription, you uncertified therapist!
Been watching your uploads for around a year now, I'm gradually getting through them, another great job. I've come to think it must be very theraputic knowing you're doing such a great civic service. No time for the morons in cars that splash you, it's not as if they can't see you.
It amazes me how accurate those strikes with the rake is! I've tried doing something like this one handed as you're doing in several of your vids - and it's exhausting. You gotta have lots of workout routines for that!
Tip from a seasoned drain clearer. Use the rake in the same direction as the holes in the drain cover, not across the top of them. It comes out way easier then,
Post 10 is a real mensch (The key to being 'a real mensch' is nothing less than character, rectitude, dignity, a sense of what is right, responsible, decorous." The term is used as a high compliment, implying the rarity and value of that individual's qualities.) Who else would respond "I got splashed by that car" rather than a stream of expletives. A real evolved human being. Thank you Post 10!
what an awesome guy. Even when these assholes splash him he's just like head down and crackin' on with helping others, frickin brilliant - I'll try to be more like you dude
