100% agreed. Being a fan of both of these dudes has me enjoying all the music. The constant rewriting rules bullshit is what’s been the most tiresome to see when people are discussing the rap beef
The idea of using Kendrick's idols to mock him is clever I just think the execution is corny. Like Ken said, if Drake was able to rap in the style and perspective of Pac that wouldve been dope and showed more to his ability as a Em C
You would just say it was ghost written by someone other than Drake. Why lie? Just say there’s nothing Drake can do to please you cause you already in bed with Kendrick. 😂
@nylewinston602 Naw, he's been doing that for years already. At least if he did it this time, there would be a narrative to it that's easily understandable.
Oh this easily because they completely gloss over Drake taking 3 weeks and then it being a “leak” on top of that. Him not ever responding to Push is cool too since yk J Prince said not to do it 🥱They want everyone to be “objective” but can’t be with themselves

These old heads losing their minds. Drake doesn’t give two shits about their “respect”. He wants to be disrespectful and use todays technology to get under his skin.
This the shit im talking about. The same people that say keep it on wax are the same ones saying Chris Brown dropped a real diss track. Chris brown and Quavo have real beef outside of music. There really isn’t a clock and Kendrick will respond when he responds, Drake is tryna rush him so they can get this over with and move on with their lives. The Taylor made freestyle isn’t a diss record as much as it’s just an elaborate meme.

@@SimpExterminator not coping, I have no horse in this race. and Drake should’ve waited for the scheduled second metro album before he responded because he didn’t know who else was gonna tag in and he did. Drake responded perfectly on “time”, that being said this shot clock thing is a result of drake’s influence on the culture with him vs meek mill and it’s smart for him to battle on those terms. But it’s not required of anyone to battle on those terms. Kendrick and his team never said Drake and Cole needs to respond in a certain time frame. @@btorres5x I have no problem what Beezy and Ken said, sure Ken might have some bias but a lot of people have his opinion. They offer a unique perspective based on their taste and experience being hip-hop fans. I thought Beezy's point on how the AI verses sounded wonky was true. However, I thought the diss track worked in manipulating public opinion to side against Kendrick and probably fucked up what he was writing for the diss. It was overall a good convo from the guys.
@@cookiemonster64 "make Kendrick reply"? That somewhat implies that it's Drake looking for a reply, but if my memory serves me correctly, Kendrick was calling Drake out to battle. It’s obvious why Drake is doing this. This is suppose to be bar for bar who’s better, but he’s using social media and blogs to his advantage which is smart.
AI shit is lame. Trolling isn't clever. Highlighting that you talk to young girls isn't doing what he think it was. The first track was better. ChatGPT Rappers and yall letting it slide. The genre is cooked.
They Don't wanna here that. These oldheads and conscious ninjas are stuck in their ways. They savior getting bodied by a popstar rn and they can't live with it
I honestly think this was a bit disrespectful to the legends whose likeness was portrayed. I respect that Drake has clearly learned from his Pusha T experience and is getting ahead of this whole situation but the precedent this has set will not be a good thing for the future imo.
The song IS clever . The idea of Tupac giving Kendrick a pep talk while still expressing doubt in him at the same time IS creative conceptually . Is it also trolling? Duh . Yes . And I hate Drake .

Shout out to Rod and Feefo, they were really on point with their breakdown. As for Kinge, he's really showing his old head credentials. I'm a millennial who grew up in the 90's too(real hip hop era 😅) and i'm obviously rooting for Kendrick, but putting bias aside, Drake is definitely playing his cards right.
It's the fine line between corny and clever, but it's definitely clever. People are letting nostalgia and their general (relatively justified) hate of Drake cloud their judgment.
The more this beef goes on, the more corny and juvenile it feels. It’s not even about music anymore, just a bunch of fanboys who get sensitive and can’t comprehend when someone has a different opinion than them. Like this comment section.
I can see it, if Kendrick was the one who pulled the move that drake pulled, he would’ve been called a genius by a lot more people. I think Drake sucks but this bias is disgustingly obvious. I’m starting to respect Drake now, everybody jumping him and he’s holding his own and doing even. So it’s okay for Kendrick to not respond??? And yall say Eminem stans are the worst, I think with the beef we should re-evaluate that
If you wanna drag Em into this, nobody was ragging on Em for not responding to Nick Cannon's disses. but Drake drops a second disses two days after the first and now it's "ooooh kenny cooked if he don't drop"? Make it make sense.
If Kendrick did this he’d be called corny, pipe down. People called that AI face morph stuff in THP5 corny, people called Auntie Diaries corny, people called a bunch of stuff Kendrick does corny. Stop trying to act like drake is a victim or something lololol.
Calm down buddy, I don’t have a dog in this fight. I am a bit or was a bit of a Kendrick fan more that Drake’s cause he just looked soft to me but he’s changing my opinion with these diss tracks
@thapoint09 lool stop coping. Kendrick was THE ONE who threw rocks first. If he knew he was guna throw direct shots then why wouldn't you have material and disses ready beforehand? He had time BEFORE he dropped like that to have stuff ready and AFTER. Drake dropped over 2 weeks ago so kenny has had since his first diss. How are YOU the aggressor but the slowest outta ALL your peers
I get all that, but the whole Tupac and snoop angle is useless being that Kendrick last album , clearly is him saying he stop looking up to his idols as saviors , hence “tupac dead , got to think for yourself “ . I feel like all of drakes disses are based off on who Kendrick was at 2014-2017
Bro relax with ya girly ass. U can't listen to a video unless your favorite rapper is being praised. It's a fuckin video it's not that big a deal. Maybe they really Believe what they saying. Stop being a damn fanboy.
Pull up a Kendrick song with no features and look at the credits. Kendrick also has writers. Even if that was the case. Is the ghostwriter better than you? Kendrick says he the best.

I'm definitely more of a Kendrick fan, and I still hold on to faith that Kendrick can/will win this in the end (we shall see). But that being said, I thought the Taylor Made freestyle was funny and clever. Definitely a smart move on Drake's part to not only address the whole AI thing head on but also use the two west coast legends of the previous generation as a way to taunt Kendrick. Pretty creative, honestly
I don't like Drake at all but boy he cooking Kenny right now. This AI diss was perfect. The comparisons to Tupac, Uncle Snoop, using those two against him and doing the old 8 Mile and using his own possible disses against him. Add to that everybody thinking the first diss track was AI and him coming back with actual AI. Drake is on top tight now.
This is exactly where i'm at too.. it's fucked up seeing the bias against Drake play out right now, making grown ass men look immature as hell with their takes. Everybody should have the confidence that Kendrick will release a scaithing diss track no matter when he does it.. my thing is, if he's one of the GOATs, he would have the tools to put together a more cohesive diss song faster than Drake. At this rate it sound like Drake is sitting on another one and has time to play with his food while we wait on 1 response from Kendrick. It's hard to not see Kendrick being down 0-1 (if not 0-2) so far in this battle.
Im a kendrick fan but ill give credit where its due. I think the song is excellent trolling and he had some great moments on there like when he said " nah nah nah this time you following through"...that ish was cold af. Hats off coz Drake wants all the smoke
Finally a Kendrick fan who’s being objective. I’m also a Kendrick fan but Drake gave him want he wanted with the diss track Push Ups. Then he doubled down and had the audacity to use an AI voice augmentation to make his vocals sound like Kendrick’s biggest idols, even made his idols rap in his own flow.. That’s a chess move and Kendrick definitely needs to respond with something good. But rn Drake is up and for us Kendrick fans to say otherwise is just being in denial
I’m sorry but Ken hating big time. And I’m not even a drake fan. Drake is trolling Kendrick by using Kendrick’s two favorite rappers. I rather this than rappers be all buddy buddy. This is great for hip hop
Was it corny when Pac hired an actor to mock Big? Was it corny when Push hired a TMZ girl to expose Drake? It's the art of war and the Canadian boy is trying his best to get in Dot's head. It's creative and fair game in my opinion.
Let’s not pretend Ether ain’t like that, the way Nas flipped that “I Will Not Lose” put him over the top in the beef. Jigga couldn’t recover after Ether
Critique and hate are 2 different things. Critique allows room for objectivity. Hate is just a weak emotion. Drake may not be your cup of tea, but credit needs to be given where credit is due.
My dawgs. I love K Dot and Drizzy. Both goats. We gettin amazing music. But if you don't think Taylor Made is fire... i think u is hating hard. Give Drake his props for engaging this deep. And let's look forward to some fire from K dot!!
The problem is... Drake and his label have stated issues with AI. Using Drake AI to make AI Drake songs. Now here go Drake using AI... it's hypocritical. Pac is dead. But Snoop is not.
@dominicthelordkabinga you right... I heard it was about them rapping over a Metro beat and since Drake and Metro ain't cool no more he didn't want the song released. Also, I wouldn't put it past Drake to have used AI to write that first diss and then just re-record it with his actual voice.
This beef is making me realise how many Kendrick meat riders they are, this diss wasn't great but the use of AI is a very clever move from Drake and pretty scathing, I agree that I wish the bars were better but Push Ups was a solid diss. If Kendrick did this AI move, Ken and B would be gassing him like he's a genius but because it's Drake it's a great value g-funk track. I'm not even a Drake fan, I think his music is pretty mediocre and Kendrick is one of the best of all time but I gotta call it how I see it, that Drake is defo up in this beef and this was a creative way to approach a diss
Kendrick stans always been like this bro. Straight parasocial weirdo obsession with him like he some untouchable savior. Always excuses for kendrick no matter what
Kendrick used AI in the Heart Pt. 5. He also pretended as if Nipsey was channeling himself through KDot and "forgave" his killer. He also pretended like he was interviewing Tupac. People praised all 3 of those, which goes to emphasize how much niggas really hate Drake.
The difference with the Drake songs and the comparison to ether and the content is Drakes Content isn’t dope. Rapping is a lyrical medium and always will be which is why everyone is waiting for Kendrick to respond. We waiting for what he is going to say. Not how many songs or records it’s going to sell.
Facts. People getting caught up in doing numbers and that got nothing to do with bars. Jazz tried that numbers game and still lost to nas. Beef is about bars not about hits and drake really ain't super lyrical
Ken’s bias is irritating. Now all of a sudden Kendrick doesn’t have to respond and Drake is “in a tizzy” for responding to being dissed? Mental gymnastics.
Feefo and Rod are getting this twisted. No one is saying Drake can’t insult Kendrick. I think using Tupac’s likeness and voice is creative but morally wrong. Drake is now having to address Tupac’s Estate cease and desist. If Drake insulted Kendrick and his kinfolk without AI, no issues. But using a dead legend’s voice to 8 Mile Kendrick’s dissing Drake’s association with young girls is disgusting. It’s hypocritical that Drake stops AI use when it’s his likeness, but is okay doing it to a dead hip-hop legend who is not involved with this beef. I’m with Ken and Beezy this is wack and immoral, even if it’s creative. If he got permission from 2Pac’s family this would be fine but still kind of weird.
a dead hip hop legend AND a living one lmao. it’s some real wack shit to imitate someone who is alive who would have definitely rejected the request for a feature on this track. i’m with you on the tupac part but honestly i think stealing a living artists voice is even more out of line in some ways.
So when Kenny put on Nipsey Face talkin about 'I forgive my killer' as if he actually has permission from Nip beyond the grave to speak on his behalf.. y'all were riding with it. When Kenny pulled Tupac to interview, y'all were riding.. Now it's morally bad. GtFO
Thank you feefo and Rod for being the logical voice of reason, it’s about the perception of drake calling him out and Kendrick not responding makes Kendrick look weak

I agree with OG Kenny. For someone who witnessed every beef since the 80s this beef gotta look corny af.
