He did good and bad things just like most people. He made music for the people that society casted away. The rest of the world just were allowed to listen to it.

For those of you who don't know ...Forest hill where drake grew up is one of the richest neighbourhoods in North america. I have no idea if Drake grew up with money or not, there is a section of that area that does have apartments and is just kinda expensive. His highschool forest hill CI is a snooty public school where a lot of VERY wealthy go . there is virtually ZERO crime there and maybe on murder every 4-5 years. Toronto is already safe , his particular " HOOD " is THE SAFEST in TORONTO.
I like how he talks, he's not educated, he dropped out, but you couldn't tell. 50 Cent talks good, Diddy talks good, Jay Z talks good, there are a lot of rappers who enunciate their words and talk well, well, the businessmen at least. So as it turns out drake wasn't made of money growing up .. but comparing most people to those that go to forest hill would be considered BROKE ... it would be like comparing a middle class normal person vs beverly hills or orange county type brats .... Poor drake .. he didn't get a BMW and only living off TV revenue from his show must have been really tough ... in a crime free area , clean city, free healthcare .. school and all the opportunities of the world in Toronto ..
