100%... he was actually listed a higher DE draft pick than Kevon Thibodaux...until his old dumbass USC coaches forced him into a hybrid LB roll and made him lose weight. This guy will be an absolute force at 270-285lb at the niners.
He could be an impact player, love the pick. I live in Utah, saw him play both the utes and byu he was a problem. Hated him in the pac 12 now as a 49er I love this dude.
What excites me about this pick is that he’s gonna replace Ford and more. This isn’t a player solely for situational pass plays. He’s a stud run defender who can easily develop into a 3 down player. Upping his technique next to Bosa and learning from the best D-Line coach in the league, shoot. And just think: Jackson, Kinlaw, Armstead, and Bosa 🥵🔥 sheesh we may play just as well or even better than 2019 if kinlaw plays well and Armstead retains his all pro play.

I can’t believe this guy fell to the third round. He is a freak of nature. I have never seen a defensive lineman that is a turnover machine. He is lightning quick and very aggressive. He is quick enough to read the offense and to react correctly. The fact that he caused fumbles making tackles. He picked off passes on the line and he caused QBs to make big mistakes while being backed up in their own end zone. I can’t wait to see what he does on our defensive line. This was a great draft pick for us.
Do I sense a little Aldon in his game? There are going to be a lot of scared quarterbacks this season with this guy charging at them. Unfortunately, I see a lot of roughing the passer penalties in our future because this guy is mean and looks like he wants to hurt someone.
