You have to take all college tape with a grain of salt. Think of how many guys looked great in college that failed in the NFL and vice versa. Maye has red flags. YES! He's also one of the more physically gifted QBs in this class. You draft Maye because of what you think he can become after your coaches get their hands on them. If Wolf or Mayo have any faith in their staff then Maye is the guy. He's only 21. He won't hit his prime for another 4 or 5 years. Get him in here, take your time with him, draft and sign at other positions in the mean time, and when it's finally time to take the field this kid is going to kill it.

Take Maye at 3 (if available) draft a WR with pick 34, and trade for Conklin. Would be best case scenario imo.

a lot of the insiders are saying Maye to Washington. I don't like Daniels. These running quarterbacks rarely transition to scrambling/pocket QB. When young, they're the best thing since sliced bread until they get hurt and then they fade away. I would rather take JJ and hopefully have a top tier qb 10 years down the road.

@stephenmartin6430 one of several not unrelated concerns I have with Daniels is his one defining trait is his speed and to get anything out of him, you're banking on him being the most prolific running QB of all time. He's got to outpace Jackson to make up for the deficiencies in throwing while also avoiding the injuries Jackson has had all while probably being sub 190lbs. Plus, he's older. He'll be 24 this season, and these guys that run a ton barely make it past 30. We'd basically get the rookie deal out of him less any time he was injured. I couldn't really care less about having the fastest QB. It's the least important trait for a QB by a mile, so I don't think he even has top 15 potential. The floor side is a bottomless pit to me, so I wouldn't draft him to play QB under any circumstance.

I want them to take Malik Washington he is going to be the next Steve Smith super productive player and even at 5-8, 195 he is a great yac guy and had a ludicrous 63% contested catch win rate and jumped 42.5 at the combine. He’s the real deal

No matter who they take they had better protect him. I like Maye because he reminds me of Ben Roethlisberger....Maye is going to be a big strong guy who can run... Daniels is a great college QB... but will he be able to take a pounding ??

What does the prototypical size, speed, broad jump have to do with the ultimate required skill of actually catching the football? NOTHING WHATSOEVER. If the goal is to shop for wide receivers that fill a cookie-cutter look that will simply look good on the cover of a sports magazine, then we will never get the wide receiver room where it needs to be. We need receivers that can. 1. Get open 2. Catch the football and secure it. 3. Take it to paydirt when they catch the football 4. Block when necessary. If you are shopping for cheap bargain #2 to #4 wide receivers that have shown zero ability to do all four of those things with consistent regularity and consistent reliability in the college ranks, you will always have a receiving room that is assured to also not be able to do it in the pros.

Alt is good, once we get him will we improve our record with our other picks if we do, how do we get a good QB. The highest chance to get a good QB is the top 3 in the draft based off history. QBs that are good almost never fall to free agency, I hate the idea of waiting one to magically fall into our lap with no plan to get one. Once we add a QB, it will still be easy to get OTs through both the draft and free agency. SF lost the Super Bowl, the team that took Mahomes and had a less talented roster won.

Take Maye at 3, and trade up for another 1st round pick just like Houston did last year. Get your QB, WR in the first round. Get your tackle later. Or vice versa

I knew who two of them would be, am a massive fan of Mc Cafrey. Mc Millain was a surprise. If we can Get Legete and Mc Cafrey and maybe Wilson we'd be pretty good.

Personally I don't buy into having to do what the rest of league is doing. The only reason the QB'S today need to be play makers is the lack of patience teams and fans have to develop players. In todays instant gratitude society everything has to be instant success. The offensive line has suffered the most with constant player changes and protection for the QB has dropped. You can still win with a pocket QB you just need to build and keep the O line in tact.

Take Drake at no.3. The Vikings just proved its not that expensive to move into the 20's, so I say trade into 20-28 and get AD Mitchell. Take a Left Tackle at 68 to potentially take over by the end of the season.

1. Patriots won't get a number 3 pick again. There are 3 top 10 QB picks in this years draft. Then 3 more QB's who will be drafted in the 1st round to desperate QB needy teams. 2. QB Drake Maye 6'4 230, 21 years old. Great arm. Played in 2 different systems 2 years in a row. Had bad O-line both seasons. Had fair to below fair WR's both years. 3. LSU QB Jayden Daniels 6'3.5" 190, good arm and accuracy. Great WR's and O-line. Took 3 months to gain 20 pounds to get to 210 pounds. Will play at under 200 pounds during season. Doesn't slide and takes BIG HITS EVERY GAME. Will be picked by Washington. Balt. QB Lamar Jackson gets injured alot. He's 30 plus pounds heavier than Jayden Daniels. Injury rusk??? 1/3 QB Drake Maye 2/34 OT Kingsley Suamataia or OT Patrick Paul 3/68 WR Jermaine Burton

If Drake Maye's arm is so great, why does he regularly throw the ball into the dirt? Oh, the excuse is his footwork. Well, if Drake Maye is such a great athlete with such a great work ethic, they why is his foot work so sloppy when it negatively impacts his play? You would think a hard working athlete would have had pretty decent foot work by 2nd year college, especiially coming from a family of athletes who know better. The claims on Drake Maye don't add up. He might turn out well. But the claims by Drake-stans don't add up when compared with the film.

Because the other guys arent top 10 worthy picks. At 3 you take the best available. The consensus is that we should draft at 3 instead of trading down. If that is the agenda that is being pushed then it would make more sense to focus on the best prospects from this class.

Tyquan couldn't/can't run routes, he should've been drafted in the 4th or 5th round. These "fast" guys that Phil mentioned at the top of the draft are probably better WRs with 1 leg than Tyquan is

The Patriots need to make the trade with Minnesota if it’s there , take Micheal Penix at 11 and take the best player available at 23 even if it happens to be a defensive player I want elite talent if Newton slips that far, take him, if Jared Verse is there take him if Troy Fantanu falls that far you take him they would have 4picks in the top 100 plus 103 which is close enough. They can focus on offense but I don’t want them to ignore defense completely

Take MHJ if you can’t get a good trade haul. Then trade into the back half of the 1st and take Penix. There’s only two generational talents (Caleb/MHJ) in the draft. Don’t overthink this. Also love Rome and Malik if we can trade and stay in the top 11. We could always try to trade up if we get 11. Probably too complicated though.

There's very little intrigue for the Pats at pick 3. It's whomever the Commander's don't take will be the next Pats qb. The choice for Washington is either Maye or Daniels and the Pats get whomever they don't pick. There's also a slight chance the Pats trade down but unlikely. That's why this daily talk about each QB is getting boring and still 3 weeks to go of the same talk.

I’m sorry but look how exited and great the Texans are all cause they found a all pro Qb! Now that whole franchise in ONE year are all in!!! The Texans were the absolute desert and one great qb and it’s a playoff team so that’s why even with getting burned my Mac noodle Arm jones we have to keep Trying!!! Draft a QB Joe Thomas is the best HOF first ballot and he never made the playoffs all the other positions are just not the all pro QB
