what really helped you out when you started making beats like the first 6 months to a year if you can remember im in these stages now and need some direction, not very good at melodies I understand I need to make more to get better but its like will that make me better or what if I just keep making bad melodies and not learning from mistakes if that makes sense. time is valueable and wasting it not getting better is not a goal of mine thank you rio for helping everyon

Bro is a goat fr I wish he would keep doing these. Just by watching that 100 beats in 24 hours stream, I went from not knowing how to make beats at all to knowing how to make beats without watching a tutorial, but I know there’s probably some stuff he has to gatekeeper lol.
Sometimes I swear I use a different FL cuz I can barely hear distinction when I only stack like one melody on my chords. And then I watch these videos where they’re stacking like 10 different sounds and they’re all easily heard. And I literally eq and level my shit as much as I possibly can.
also a video idea, have you ever tried making future riddim? like the artists papa khan and leotrix? i feel like you or paryo should do a video on something like that! feel you could have such a impact on that scene
