Drama With Parents at School | Sheepdog Says

A huge drama unfolded last night and today in our school group chat about kids fighting and hurting one another and it was really interesting to see that all the SEN parents (us included) immediately leapt to apologise and make sure it wasn’t their children and so forth - it wasn’t - and lots of issues seem to be happening at school that we were not aware of.
I think it might explain some of the stress and anxiety Oli has experienced too. Im concerned that it could teach him bad social skills and make him highly strung on bad days which could exacerbate things for everyone.

Sounds like an awful situation, school really need to sort it out it sounds incredibly unsafe. Schools are very underfunded, but have to wonder why, if it is this bad, parents haven’t already been informed.

Sounds like they need to make some big changes in that class and possibly get more staff or even volunteer parents to supervise at lunch times!

I think part of the issue here is things can often get misinterpreted when reading things written online. Lack of facial expressions ect.

Andy was getting hurt just before he stopped going. He was bitten badly and scratched across the face. Also the teachers weren’t great for andy at the time

@@SheepdogSays yeah i litrely just got done on the switch and got the notifications i was putting bank details on it cause i kinda caved and pre ordered the new pokemon im disappointed in myself i pre order 2 games per year call of duty and wrestling and i caved and bought another!

Sounds like classic victim blaming, those damn SEN kids provoking the group of 9 bullies. School needs to stamp out bullying full stop. Also if you leave the group they’ll probably still have those conversations but you won’t be able to stick up for Oli so I think I’d be inclined to stay.

Onto the main point that that school sounds like the flipin hunger games who in gods name runs this joint the mafia? It sounds like hell froze over i feel for them especially oli id of probably legged it too

in a what’s app group it’s not sensible it will cause stress and spread a lot of rumours that could or could not be true and cause drama I would do yourself a favour and just leave the group I am sure their is another way you could remember events coming up

You’re probably right. Funnily enough a full 15 hours after I made a post in there someone has suddenly just taken offence and started having a go at me. Claire and I are pretty confused as to what they’re upset by but they’re angry. So we’ve just stopped replying until they either explain themselves or it just goes away.
