Dear Mrs Helen, I live in Georgia also. Right now we live in Atlanta in an apartment because my daughter had rented us an apartment here so we could help her take care of our two grandchildren when we found out our 2yr old grandson Jackson, had lymphoblastic leukemia a week before Christmas 2016 . We had our house locked up and all the utilities turned off at our house because we did not know how many months or maybe longer, we would be helping take care of our 7yr old granddaughter Lilianna, while Jackson was going through Chemo and other treatments. Then one day we got a phone call from our neighbor saying someone had broken into our home and set it on fire. I just could not believe it! Our house was just a small brick house on an acre of land about 7 or 8 miles outside of the small town of Thomson,Ga. which is two and a half hours from Atlanta. Our house sort of reminded me of your house, we loved it! Every year we grew heirloom organic vegetables and we raised heritage breed chickens for organic free range eggs. I loved my chickens, especially the bantam heritage breeds. I miss having a big front and back yard out in the country. I miss growing my heirloom vegetables, especially all the tasty and colorful varities of heirloom tomatoes handed down for generations within families. Watching your videos reminded me of how much I loved the birds and butterflies. Just like your songbirds, my chickens would let out a specific call and run and hide when a hawk was flying overhead. It is like being back in my own backyard when I watch videos of you sitting outside, and I hear the sweet music of the birds. Thank you for reminding me of how beautiful and special God's creations can be. I hope one day we will be able to afford to rebuild our little house, we had accidentally let the home owners insurance expire because it was billed on a yearly basis and the bill somehow did not get forwarded when we moved to our Atlanta apartment. We lost everything, but I still Thank God we have our family and we were safe, and I know Jackson will be healed, in Jesus's name!. I was wondering what part of Georgia you live in, maybe I could pay you a visit sometime and we could do some artwork or DIY crafts together. That would be so much fun and it would be like being back at my house in a way. Again, Thank you for inspiring all of us who watch your videos. Take care, it is a real blessing to see a beautiful lady in her 80's enjoying life and blessing others. God bless you Mrs Helen.

could you please tell us what type of materials you are using--it appears to me that your first layer is something thick and gets thinner towards the outside what kind of paint are you using. have I missed seeing if there are drain holes. I love your work, you are very talented. thank you.

Helen, your work and dedication to your craft is just wonderful. You are evidently very active but to see you bending over to mix the cement makes my back hurt. Put your mixing pot on a table, save your back . I love your work and the art medium you use like crochet items and paint. Question, do you have to use 100 percent cotton, do you wait 2-3 days to dry in shade as material seems thick and can you then put the pot in the sun to further dry when the forms are removed. You give me such encouragement to try this art and I am 77. Thank you again so much
