Have you ever thought about what would happen if you scaled up a classical tabletop miniature so it ended up in full size :) I have, and I decided to try it in real lift so I 3D printed Drasa The Assassin which is a fantasy pin-up girl from the "Dungeon Pin-ups Patreon". In this episode I'm painting the whole model, everything from the cool looking armour to the soft skin.
This is the most insane project I have done so far, but the model just looks amazing so its all worth it. If you like this video you should also check out the first episode.
WELCOME/INTRODUCTION
Hi and welcome to the Hobby World vlog series. In these videos I'm going to share honest and casual updates on the hobby projects I'm currently working on. So if you are interested in following some, or all of my weird projects this Vlog is a great way of getting behind the scenes and seeing some of the things I usually leave out of the project videos.
So stay tuned on the channel and follow my progress. I'm going to release these Vlog's on a regular basis so you can follow all of the exciting stuff I'm working on. And I will of course, still release my project videos where I stay focus on single projects.

After watching your previous Terminator build, I just finished watching these videos. I really admire your enthusiasm and never ending confidence when things go not as intended. And the final product agrees with you: Another fantastic life-size statue. Wow. I started 5 days ago my first life-size build project and I took a quite a few inspirations and tips from what you shared. So, thanks for that. One thing that may help you on your next build, is a software called LuBan 3D which makes cutting large scale models into printable pieces really child's play. No more fiddling around in Blender, or Fusion 360 and it even adds connectors and dowels automatically which makes gluing the pieces together really easy.

I'm personally really happy with how this model turned out. I still need to finish the display/base for the model :) I'm familar with Luban, but I like to be able to cut the pieces just where I want, this way I can ensure that the use of supports are minimal and that the parts aligne as I want them on the printbed. This might be possible to do in never versions of Luban (havent tried that :) ). Creating dowels is a great ide, both for aligning the parts and the strength. Anyways thank you for the tip and best of luck with your own full sized build. If you have any questions just write. Best wishes

Looks really good... Some fake eyelashes may add to the look, but man, overall it came out great

That's a great idea :). I also think that the face needs a bit more work, so I'll get back to this project when I finish my slot-car track (have a championship comming up and we are going to race on that track to start the season) :) Thanks for your comment, much appreciated.

@@HobbyWorld_one I think the face looks pretty good... Maybe you could use "Real" makeup on it to find the style you like for her, then a spray fixative could lock it on, or, you could just wash it off and change her look as you like.

@@jazcreations I might experiment a bit with that. Made a couple of half-hearted attempts painting the make up on, but abandoned it as it didn't quite look like I wanted it too. Will give the "real" makeup idea a go ;)

This model turned out amazing! I especially love the armor and I may move over to using Alclad II instead of graphite powder for one of my next projects that require a metallic finish. I certainly look forward to your next video. Also, Congratulations on 1K subscribers!

Thank you so much, and sorry for the slow reply, was on a short holiday :) I was actually considering trying something like graphite powder next time I did a project with metal. Has also considered rub'n'buff :) But the ALCLAD II Chrome works really well, especially if you can get a completly smooth surface. And thank for the congrats, so happy that I reached a 1000 subs, a bit unreal :)

It's so incredible to see a life size character. And the realism is spectacular! You did an awesome job on this! If I may quote John Bloom on his description of Meg Foster... "She has that look where you don't know if she's going to kill you, or have sex with you.... And you don't care!"

Hi and thank you so much for your comment, I'm so happy to hear that my work has inspired you. Batman isn't currently on my scheduel but I might make a model of him sometime in the future. If not a full sized then at least a collectible sized model :) Once again thank you so much for your commet, really appreciate it.

Thanks :) I have had the T-900 on standby while working on this model. But it's next in line together with the slotcar track, so you can expect an update on that project pretty soon. Looking forward to sharing the progress :)
