I can't say it enough Jim. I've been playing off n on for 15 years total and regularly shot in the mid to high 90's and after 4 months of watching your videos, I'm now shooting in the mid to low 80's and my stock shot it a slight draw when I use to hit a natural fade. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found you! You are legit sir!!
The key thing that gives me that nice soft draw is to pause at the top and keep my back to the target as long as I can in the downswing. If the shot doesn't draw or even goes straight I guarantee that your shoulders opened up on the downswing. I consider a straight ball flight as a miss. Why did the shoulder open up?? Either right side got over active on the downswing or weight was not kept planted on the left leg, or did not close shoulders enough at setup. It is truly amazing today, hitting a 4 iron 200 yards with a high soft 5 yard draw. Jim is the best instructor ever.
Jim's teachings worked. I cut an average of 16 strokes last year when I started at the Jim Venetos Golf Academy. I can't be more clear it worked for me. I am in Canada though but can't wait until spring to see how many more strokes I can cut this coming year.
Canadian here as well, south of Calgary, just signed up.😀 Another month or so and I'll be able get out and have some beers and play more army golf. Or maybe Jims method will get me on track. 🤔
Venetos golf to the rescue. Public address yet so personalized! Doesn’t get any better than that with best coach and best method! #StayStill “Adapt what is useful, rejected what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.” ~bl
I don’t have to go fast, I like the slow speed I produce with the distance and shapes it creates on call. That’s just me. That’s my own unique addition to Jim’s way of golfing.
