Really great video, the eyes and fur both look amazing, very nicely done. I've been tempted to try something bigger like this but it seems a little daunting.

Hello Gemma. Lovely self-explanatory video. Thank you. Pls could you advise regarding the base layer, can it be done with soft pastels or oil based pencils are always better?
It would be great if you used tinted paper because a pure white paper is problematic when viewing. I couldn’t see anything at all when you are doing light colours at the start.
I know what you mean - I made this a fair while ago and got frustrated with the camera not picking things up. I've upgraded equipment a lot since then so hopefully it's no longer a problem in my newer videos
