Devon you’re amazing! Look at the joy and positivity you bring to the world ❤ Your art seems to be getting better and better. I guess practice makes perfect 👏🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽
I've found the best people are the ones who have tats/piercings/colored hair/etc., and the worst all look bland and boring. I honestly feel much more at ease around "alt" people.
This young man's gift of putting a smile on a stranger's face and making them feel noticed, appreciated and unique, in a World of strangers, is priceless.
Hello folks I've been doing portraits for 40 years and it's not possible to draw such a detailed picture in such a short time. (see also a perfekt addidas Logo on one of the cap, like a Foto. Video: drawing realistic portraits of strangers on the NYC Subway) . And the final result does not correspond to the filmed preliminary sketch. The actors probably meet twice, or uses other tricks, for example, computer conversion of photos with art filters. But the end result is nice and people enjoy it. But it's not honest!

The way you draw these people is so much better than any verbal compliment you could ever give them. You always manage to capture their most flattering characteristics in a way that really shows your genuine appreciation for all types of human aesthetics.
The best part of all your videos is the human interaction. Everyone is so focused on ignoring everything around them, but you get them to engage. Thank you
I don't know why these videos make me tear up... Is it his talent? The way that people change from skeptical to appreciative? Or how sometimes someone is brought to tears for situational or personal issue they may be going through, that I'll never know? Or they're so kind hearted they get emotional at the gesture? The genuine surprise is enough.... I'll just keep watching.
Once I saw him drawing people from behind on the plane I realized he is addicted 😂 It is quite impressive how he can capture different complexions by pushing harder or lighter on the pencil. And he drew those mini heart tattoos with surgeons hands.
You’re a rockstar and so super talented! Im an artist too and I’ve drawn strangers on a bus, at a park, or restaurant but you took it to the next level. Please don’t stop what you’re doing. People are genuinely so grateful and cherish these sketches forever.
This guy might have saved a few peoples lives and didn't even know it.... u never know what a smile can do to someone having a bad day....God Bless u sir

I'm just going to say it flat out, you are one of the most talented artists I've ever seen, I've been painting over 5 decades ,only landscapes, can't do portraits to save my life, my aunt is a professional painter, she does portraits that actually looks like photographs just like you, but what sets you apart is the stunning speed in which you can do it. We're both shocked at the speed without compromising accuracy. ❤
Thank you, Thank You for your videos. Every time I see them I just love how much diversity of people there are in this world and seeing them smile at your drawings warms my heart.
How awesome is it to just bless peoples live with something you find so simple. Yet other people are so amazed by it. Every one of them were so mesmerized by it, they couldn't believe it. Kept it humble by saying it's just practice. You're incredible dude. Keep doing you and spreading joy.
This is the world we all deserve. One of shared gifts and skills, freedom from snap negative judgment and kindness. This post is so inspirational on so many levels, thank you! 💕🙏🏻
I love your videos.. to see the genuine moment of happiness in a strangers face and the love they feel from you and the universe is captured in all their faces! Cheers to you and what you do! 🍺
Devon you are so very talented! I've seen some of your videos. The reactions you get from the people that you choose as your subjects are great.😃 How you can draw your subjects so precisely and in such a short time amazes me. Best wishes to you in this new year.💖💖💖
I love a person who goes out of their way to show the world that they can do whatever they want to their bodies. They are saying ITS MINE! And so it is.
You are creating something amazing for this world man, making others happy just for the sheer pleasure of doing it is what all is about. By doing that you are certainly taking the best out of all those people you touch with your art, you can see it in their faces. Keep the great work, we certainly need more people like you everywhere.
Amazing how he just manages to find those people that are gonna stay on the train long enough for him to make a drawing of them, who also just happens to be those that sit in one position the whole time, and don't mind some guy sitting across from them, that stares at them, and then furiously scribbles on a piece of paper the whole way. Lucky guy.
Careful, an art critic got death threats from rabid followers for even remotely doing his job and critiquing this guy’s work. Wasn’t even critical, and even mostly positive. This artist is talented, but if he is criticized even a little he sends his rabid fans to harass them on social media like he did to Benstoppable, for literally doing his job. He can’t handle anything even slightly negative. And his fans are just as bad collectively. Telling the poor man they were going to kill him and telling him a thousand different ways to kill himself. And Rodriguez knew and kept sending his followers to over to keep it up.
0:01 bro got a nice tattoo on his entire head, seriously him drawing some strangers realistically on train station must be so entertaining 3:49 that "Cindy hot chocolate" moment tho
I'm jealous that I can't get a picture of you, wrong subway line. we don't have a subway where I live! love your spontaneous drawings of everyday people ♥️
imo it not just a drawing of a stranger but a wholesome interaction in a surprising way. its like watching a child receive a gift that he didnt know he would love.
The cooliest thing on your videos are the reaction from the people! They are not waiting that you are drawing them and then the magic happens! Everybody has a soul, a history of life and everybody deserves be showed as a human being! Cgts and God bless you Devon! From your Brazilian fan
It's always nice to see someone being kind, like shining a light in an otherwise dark world. It won't change much, but in a world ruled by badness it's nice to see a little joy.
Awesome that you have such a gift and can give your gift to others and make then smile. Most people would be afraid of some people that you drew. Its a great icebreaker.
Every single one of these people are BEAUTIFUL! Sometimes it takes a beautiful soul like Devon to share our beauty with other's, as we all know Beauty comes from within first & foremost! 😁
What sweet and genuine reactions from everyday people. ^_^ This made my day and made me smile from ear to ear. You are amazing too for making one's day honestly.
