Don't get it twisted. Chris can write in any style, but he's a straight up soul singer. People get confused with the cowboy hat. But an outfit doesn't make a genre of music. Chris is playing a Gibson Les Paul. B.B. King played an ES-335 semi-hollow body.
Yea you said it, "what are you gonna play after that?" I saw Chris live last week in Minnesota and he is absolutely amazing, there is not enough soul in a lot of today's music so he is a King!

Chris is one of my favourite singers, but he's more soul to me than country. If you're interested in country, you really must check out Home Free... they're a country all vocal band and are a world apart. If you do get into their videos, you're guaranteed to see an explosion on your channel once the Home Fries (HF fans). You probably want to start with Man Of Constant Sorrow which is still my all-time favorite, but their cover of Boyz2Men End of the Road is Fire. Four of the group have music degrees and have even done some Opera. These guys are so great. Really never was a fan of a cappella groups, but you forget there are no instruments because of their award winning vocal percussionist (a cut above a beatboxer). There are some drum solos out there, but I think the best one is 2018. Hope you decide to check them out. Back to Chris, all his live performances are actually better than his studio stuff.

There’s much more and before he became a singer he was a master guitarist and songwriter for many famous artists across genres so you probably know his work. Here's some trivia for anybody that GAF...BB was playing some lil joint that was using 55G drums of kerosene lit to keep the place warm. Two dudes started fighting over a chick and knocked down one of the barrels catching the whole place on fire. BB had to run bk in to save his prize guitar. The name of the girl the dudes were fighting over was "Lucille" and now that famous guitar had a name

Won Noway got Talant in 2014 age 7... American Idol she sings Bohemian Rapsody....two best singers in music today...keep the channel going boys........Good choices in reactions..Good luck with your reactions and growth in your channel.
