No question really other than have you considered using local lore and legends from other historical periods? I’ve always wanted a game about Vikings and Valhalla and such that was more this style than a beat the life out of people for no understandable reason other than gamer boys are supposed to only care about blood and guts lol There are just sooooo many gods in their Parthenon that I think it would be cool. And i guess a second question would be if there are plans to make your games with more choices during the game. Less a walk through and more a choose your adventure game? It seems like you started to do the latter with this game, but I would love to see so much more and you’re one of the only devs I’ve seen who has the style and talent to be able to pull off a body of work like that and to do it very well. As always, thanks for the great game! My computer was stolen so I’m stuck on phone but I’ve watched 4 lets players play and it’s been such a good time seeing the different choices they can occasionally sake. Great game! You just keep getting better!

@@hannavahan1652 dimitri was the one to experiment on Renata/wipe her memory so he could’ve been the only one to write that letter, and during renatas ending, she said, quote on quote, ‘he loved him’ when referring to Dimitri :)

yep, there is also the moments where Kurt tells us that Dimitri is more special/important to him compared to the rest ^^ I was suspecting it as I was watching someone else play it but when I saw the "i love you" it confirmed it for me

And not only for show. She is a freak of nature, the only one who Baba truly fears. Spoiler!: In one ending, Gisela and Baba finally fight. Baba tries to stab her, but, with inhuman reflexes and speed, Gisela immobilizes Baba's arm. With a calm, gleeful smile, Gisela tells to Baba: "Oh, you are pretty strong. I'm going to enjoy this".

The game actively says they arnt this likely takes place in Europe

Besides, if this game is based in the 70s, I'd doubt the house guests would be as friendly as they were right now towards her.

​@@ladylunaginaofgames40A lot of the endings are non canonical. Seemingly, the one where Karin just sorta dies on the ground in NG+ or the normal one where the spirits force Baba Yaga to turn the light on is the canon one.

The story switches between the view of the witch/baba yaga/ last games mc, and the cop (new mc) if it’s confusing think about it like this, If you: 1. Switch areas randomly 2.Encounter a ghost and randomly switch areas 3.See any of the chompettes (talking veggies NOT the animals) Your most likely the witch, and the next time you switch povs you’ll be the new mc, or cop idk Sorry if this is messy and hard to understand

@@donaldmcfinniganiii9923 the story was a bit hard to understand too, but if you look deeper into the dialogue + have some knowledge on the folklore its based off of you can probably quickly make out what its about.

@Spooky_Platypus I don't necessarily enjoy all of the video games he plays but I like him and his narration so I have it on while doing things. Sometimes you miss some plot details that go by fast in the longer videos.

Pretty much is Kurt is like the witch, but not by being a witch. He's more of like an alchemist. Dimitri is pretty much the only actual willing one with him, everyone else is brainwashed. His research is about brainwashing and memory wiping. To control things, like government or whatever else. The witch has a problem with him because of a past beef, so that's why she's there. The main character is a cop that was there to investigate Kurt but got memory wiped by him through swallowing his hair. Gisela and Ken are with Kurt because they're running from past problems that they don't want to remember or deal with. They're not there because they actually like Kurt or want to be there. Kurt's ultimate goal is to have what he currently does, but also be able to make his subjects immortal. Max and Clover(duck and rabbit) are Kurt's failed test subjects. I think that covers about all the important stuff

I feel like it's oddly sexist towards men to assume the villains HAS to be a man.. like a self-roast 😂 I thought everybody understood Baba Yaga was a "she".

Mate, there was genuine reason to suspect the MC was a man, such as the chompettes, before dying, describing the butcher as a man with a crooked smile and twisted teeth. Wont argue about the rudeness though. That is deplorable.

I’m still confused about the story

She doesnt become more evil. She is more soft until talking to Potato. She became softer due to the chompettes and Razael. She went out to massacre people in Zakopane after talking to potato, and now wishes to eliminate competition. She isnt doing anything due to benevolence. Just to eliminate competition.

This was a part where Gamersault made a mistake. After the witch says that she plans to hunt the other elders, Potato says "That will make things easier". She's doing it to get rid of competition.

Throughout the game various characters mention weight being lifted as they console in one another.

the dev answered this on twitter!!! It refers to two things - The weight that Kurt very obviously doesn't have, or the dread Kurt feels knowing The Baba Yaga will inevitably get to him :)

But this takes place on a german island

Because there wasnt enough info in the first game. It was one of the most likely theories, but it wasnt definitive.
