Very nice build! One of only a very few videos by a fellow bike building colleague, where I have nothing to criticize… decent application-specific grease types used, all tightened to torque-spec and an overall professional impression. So there is just one thing appropriate to say: chapeau ✌️

Probably my favourite color 4 the S-WORKS frame . Specialized certainly require major research in2 the Colours of there Bike Frames. A few look like Kindergartens finger painting with there multi colors . Not enough Gr8 colours 2 choose from . I am a Specialized Guy, but Gee l wouldn't mind if Trek painted my frames ...

When you cut the brake cable, you marked it with a white marker. How much extra did you allow between the two marks . ?

The manual says not to face the bottom bracket on the Tarmac SL8… I believe this frame is due for a warranty claim . Please see Hambini’s SL8 video (9:06) .

What does it mean to face a bottom bracket? Looks like they just torque it after screwing it on. Didnt see them shave or do anything on the frame. Can you please explain?

@@asiangrafx we removed the video already, we really did face the BB. The frame will be changed to a new one .

Dude you f'ed the frame. You went too far facing the bottom bracket the aluminum insert is showing which means you've removed the carbon plies forming mechanical lock over the inserts and now the bike is 100% unsafe to ride.

This frame is extremely brittle and prone to cracking. Handle with caution

You’re not supposed to, manual says not to face the bottom bracket

Because you don't need to. The area is molded and CNC machined. Both processes are way more accurate and reliable than handtools.
