What a different time. Everything was even worse than the way things are today, but the world seemed like a friendlier place. A world without the Internet and social media.
@@ShamrockParticle sources say the tapes were shipped from NBC to Don Reid’s estate upon the show coming to an end, and the tapes along with other production material were stored in the basement. Sometime between the show’s end in 1984 and the announcement in July 2013, a flood broke out and wiped out all master episodes and everything else stored. GSN reportedly had been trying for many years in the 90s and 2000s to get the rights to rerun this show with no luck. Now we know why.
I think the only way Dream House can be seen in reruns, is if anybody knows how to make a time machine and go back in time and save the tapes before they got destroyed, if anybody knows the date they were destroyed or go back in time and make duplicates before they were destroyed.
