I still can't quite believe my kitchen is done but above all that it looks as incredible as it does. Please comment if you have any questions or want to know where everything is from that I haven't mentioned!
You're so right, it's worth it to keep going as the rewards are great once it's done! Well done & thanks for sharing! see you on the road somewhere in Aus ;) ... all the best. Renee
I’ve lived in my van for 3 years and first build I had a white stone sink and it was the worst for marks so I ripped it out to change to a black metal one. I also started with those rv lab latches and found overtime driving bumpy roads and the drawers shaking the screws came loose and broke, I’ve since changed to a more robust drawer lock. I’ve been told by the owner they’ve changed to design so can’t comment on the recent version. Vans are built to be enjoyed … and renovated :)!
Can’t wait for the next ep. Very impressed with the effort and hope you keep us up to date once you are on the road. Most important question is what is the skiff you had in the first intro and are you going to tow it with you?… ‘cos that would be awesome to watch. Anyhoo, get out there, pick your path carefully (like the trip north of Cairns to the top of the Cape is ugly at the wrong time of year, the trip across the Savannah Way is ugly from Hellsgate, likewise for the Gibb River Road, huge fun but go after the wet and after they’ve been graded)… but it’s a BIG country and lots of memories to create… look forward to vids!
I love the whole bus and especially that kitchen, how long is the bench and what is the name of the kitchen drawers you got from ikea and also your sink it’s just beautiful 😍
@@emmamaertens thanks for your quick response, I’m in the middle of a 1991 coaster bus renovation and looking into kitchens atm where did you get that beautiful sink?
I really enjoy the diy bus idea. But whenever i see this type of videos, i always wonder the amount of wood used in the bus is a little bit dangerous. I mean you have stove on the bus and it might be a potential fire hazard
