This game unsettles me. Every time you take a step I expect blood and stuff like that to suddenly appear and it just doesn't, but I have the feeling that's going to happen and I just don't know when. The subtle creepy moments don't help. Can Dumpling talk? Or was Strawberry lying?

If I lived in that town I would be a tea plant. Probably make tea from my hair. Better at least than blood-letting tomato or plucking the eyes out of grape. Yikes. Did anyone else get that as the reason why grape was blind?

Apparently, Sissy is having a terrible nightmare in which she wanders into a forest and encounters a group of people currently engaged in a rather dedicated LARP session where everyone is dressed up as their favorite food items. *** The general structure and operation of this society of auto-cannibalistic food-people are certainly a tad questionable, to say the least. For instance, they’re clearly cultivating gardens and fields of various fruits, vegetables, and wheat for consumption; however, as sentient crop-based lifeforms themselves, wouldn’t these fecund plots of land essentially represent where they seed and gestate the next generation of their populace? Are they basically eating their own newly-sprouted offspring? If not, do I dare ask how they procreate and what sorts of chimerical combinations will result from cross-breeding between foods? We see tomatoes splattered on trees, would that be akin to the residual bloodstains from a horrific murder? Conversely, as Manly stated, is there an implied hierarchy whereby some members of the same species (like Mr. Tomato) are sapient and anthropomorphic while others are purely… _vegetative_ ? On a less facetious note, it will certainly be quite interesting to follow the unveiling of the mysteries surrounding this strange, suspicious society as the game progresses.

Tomatoes may be fruit but from a culinary standpoint, they are regarded as vegetables. Also, some legal crap about vegetables being cheaper than fruit, so they wanted tomatoes classified as such.🍅🍅🍅🍅

I'm loving this game! The only nitpick I have is the font used for the text. It's hard to read some of the time. That, and on the title screen the anti-aliased title contrasts with the pixel art style of everything else.
