I heard Clay electric folks are last. We had a DYI interlock system and generator. Next time, I will complete a FTA system since cable and cell was also out.

You need to take your wood chipper with you and chip up all that brush. Can't you use that as a fill also?

My guess is the power is still out but you have the new battery power 👍. If all you have is trees down you’ve been blessed. Others were not so fortunate. Roy’s in Steinhatchee is gone. I’ve ate there on several occasions. Prayers go out to all affected by Helene. I pray y’all are okay

@TKCL That's great news! That's something, I heard reports of 158 mph sustained once it hit land. We'll know in a couple of months when they review everything but might have been a Cat. 5. Hope you two are doing good!

@@dougdavis4439 I believe it will be reclassified as a Cat 5 after NOAA finishes the analysis of the data. I heard they used some new type of drones to measure the surface barometric pressure and wind speeds in the eye right before landfall. It was continuing to strengthen as it made landfall. Definitely a historic storm.

3 months for a permit. Try to get a building permit in Slovenija. It takes you around 1 year. 😮

Mainly from Cypress trees. The roots dye the water. You should see the pretty root beer colored Green large mouthed bass that come from those waters. my cousin has properties in Panama City, Lake Seminole, And Vernon Florida. I am sure all his properties took hits from Helene.

It's called tannins that leach out from all the tree leaves along the banks and woods. Think of it like tea leaves staining the water.
