Sweet build man! What did you do to your suspension??? I have a 2015 fe501s. Cranking down the preload on the shock helps. Trying to figure out what can be done to the front. Thinking stiffer spring, heavier oil, and dropping the triples a bit. What do ya think???
wow man 🤤 thats a work of art you built there!!! we definitely need to ride sometime, where are you located again? we gotta plan something, at least a halfway meet and go for a weekend ride or something, lmk before august because I gotta baby coming august and then it will be game over lol
Hard to say. Overall I’d say the 4 stroke is more comfortable, where as the 2 stroke feels a little lighter and is more playful. Overall I’m happy with owning a 4 stroke now, but there are times I do miss the 2 stroke. Realistically I think you need both
@@SUPERMOTIVE hehehe I understand you, i think the two-stroke seems more nervous and sounds better in my opinion, but as you say the 4-stroke is more balanced, more comfortable and maybe the engine lasts longer over time rigth?
@@elrincondejordan in general yes, though the latest 2 stroke bikes can last a really long time with proper maintenance. Overall though, I’d prefer 4 stroke for long distance riding, and less maintenance is required
You thought 14 45 was too short? I’m worried if I go down to something like 42 doing parking lot wheelies and stunts will be a lot harder but obviously I’ll have more top speed
