Up to this day, DreamCast still is one of the most amazing consoles! The original games made for DC were so original and fresh.. plus the graphics STILL looking pretty amazing! I'm so glad I still own two working DreamCasts at home! :-)

Wow I enjoyed that! You really picked not only the greatest games here, you also chose the cooler of the more unknown ones. Excellent choice of music too, very nice fluid editing and all the gameplay moments look the right ones to pick! Time flew by when I watched this, I guess I'm gonna watch this again in an hour just to dwell in some nostalgia :-) SEGA could have used videos like this back in the days, maybe that would have helped the image and the DC would have had a longer lifespan... ;-)

wow! best dreamcats video I have ever seen probably. it should be endless containing every dreamcast game ever made. and some more shenmue 2 footage would be nice. especially disc 4 as that is the graphical peak of the dreamcast

Excellent video! I can see a lot of effort was put into this with the editing too. I'm just re-discovering the DC hardware after all these years. I bought mine just after midnight on it's release in 1999 (UK). I also have an N64 obsession, they're both great consoles. I've spent many weeks trying to get GD emulation working on the DC so it can use CF cards or a HDD. (I'm OzOnE on assemblergames). Thanks for the vid. Subbed. :)

For me it was all about the PS2, Gamecube, and of course the Dreamcast. Some AWESOME games came out on those systems.

All right, all right... it's coming don't worry ;) I am also re-releasing part 1 with enhanced video quality, so yeah... it is quite time consuming, especially because i am doing this all alone and i am aiming for the best possible picture quality on all games (all 60fps games will be displayed on 60fps i.e.). It's still scheduled before the end of the month, i just want to be sure people like you will enjoy it even more than this! Happy Xmas!

I had a Dreamcast back in the day, but unfortunately sold it in order to finance future consoles at that time. I have a PS3 along with an Xbox 360, and I am DYING to get a hold of a Dreamcast soon. So im resorting to just browsing tons of Dreamcast videos and seeing what potential it had (You can still go online with it!)

If it had lasted a few more years i could safely say that its the greatest console ever

10 years after its dead, I still dont understand why this awesome console failed so hard. Nice you put Headhunter (only released in Europe), REZ (idem), Space Chanel 5 Part 2 (again), CODE Veronica X (only released in Japan), and Shenmue II (not released in the US). Dreamcast forever!

@nohiro actually the Dreamcasts native resolution is 640x480/60Hz. crazy taxi outputs at 640x480 with a VGA on a PC monitor. it either does 640x480 (with vga) or 320x240 with normal tv not 800x600.

That game was dreadful!), Bomberman Online, Sega Gaga, Sega Swirl, Ooga Booga, Alien Front Online, Shadowman, Kao the Kangaroo, Slave Zero, Bust-a-Move 4, Mister Driller, Resident Evil 2+3, Did i miss Furfighters and PenPen? =)

Well I did of course and I thought it will be totally different. I got good library of DC games and now I'm looking for for games that are kinda underground not main stream. There were couple of games that I didn't heard of before that I have seen in your video. Good job though. I hope you make video of underground DC games. Opposite of Sonic if you know what I mean.

How did you get them running in 1080p and widescreen? Were you running an HDMI upconverter through the VGA box? If so, that looks amazing! Everything is so smooth!

I owned a PS2 Back in the day, Loved it to pieces. Now-a-day's I'm a PC Gamer, but I Brought a Dreamcast out of curiosity. I remember seeing it advertised back in the day but where I lived everyone was a Playstation fanboy so I followed suit. The Dreamcast was far, FAR! Better than the playstation 2 in retrospect. It's a good thing that dreamcast games are still being produced. Keep on Dreaming. And graphics Never, EVER! Made a game good. As a PC Gamer, you can't beat Doom & Half-Life.
