You got their names and matched them to faces veryyyy quick. It took me a while to tell Sua from Siyeon and Handong from Yoohyeon. Mad props. I can't wait to watch more of your reactions on Dreamcatcher

They ABSOLUTELY sing live and have great vocal stability even while doing this complicated choreo. Handong wasn't in the first two videos, Scream and BOCA, because before Scream she had went to China to film one of those audition type shows called Youth With You. The show was delayed due to Covid and so she missed out on the Scream era which also included a Japanese release and a video game ost and then, even though filming for that show was done she couldn't return to Korea for BOCA era because of the quarantine. InSomnia really went almost a year without Handong and it was rough. Luckily, she made it back in time for Odd Eye and was able to still be apart of the Dystopia trilogy.

I also recommend deja vu which is my favorite song by them and I also recommend their song can't get you out of my mind I love Dami's vocals in that song a lot

Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? Odd Eye: People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". I can only recommend to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger! Check out Deja Vu and Sahara next. Deja Vu is a masterpiece, and Sahara will show you a glimpse into their adorable crackhead personalities. 😉

Yeaaaaaaah the whole Dystopia trilogy! Yes Handong was stuck in China during their "Scream" and "Boca" eras (Handong even missed their latest worldwide tour and two online concerts because of her activities in China). But they fortunately came back together as OT7 since "Odd Eye" era and they performed all their songs as OT7 during various concerts. And as other Somnies already said, Live they sound even better! Siyeon effortlessly blessed us ALL the time with her high notes during "Boca" performances. Dunno how you will release your videos next, but just in case, for "You and I" please make sure to check the MV on their old official channel "Happyface entertainment" and not on "1theK" which does not have subtitles. Nice. Yeah they sing live on the performances. And they're known for their hard/unique Choreo. One of the reason I love their choreo is that everyone has their own turn to shine. You can check out, for vocals, the Esquire channel where they sang Boca and another video, for Odd Eye. And yeah, checking out the live performances is a must.

They're awesome, aren't they? I hope you also see some of their fun self-made MVs like Sahara, and some live performances too. Yes, they sound amazing live. Your pronunciation of the names is mostly okay, except for two: "s" before "i" (or "y") is always pronounced as "sh" in Korean, so Siyeon actually has a "shee" sound. And Yoohyeon - you pronounce Gahyeon well; it is the same "hyeon". Ga-hyeon. Yoo-hyeon.

They really are all amazingly talented! They all can sing and dance well enough to even with the leads in other groups! Due to their heavier rock influence their stage presence is often very intense and they absolutely pull it off every time. Offstage they are the cutest and softest and weirdest dorks you will ever see, definitely also worth checking out :D

Boca is my #1 song from them, Scream is my #3 Really, Dystopia trilogy had everything and more- I hope they comeback with a new trilogy or something of the sort, I do believe BEcause was an isolated story... Scream was Jiu's, Gahyeon's and Dami's era- imho, Boca was Gahyeon's, Dami's and Siyeon's, Odd Eye is 100% Siyeon's I swear- HER SHORT BLONDE HAIR AND THOSE EYES, but I admit Yoohyeon's and Jiu's entire aesthetic there was pretty fetching ^^ BEcause was Gahyeon's, Jiu's and Sua's (Sua's because we had RAPPER Sua back [slow rapping] and also- THE DANCE BREAK)

And yes, Dami does sing! But to really hear her vocal power, you have to check out Deja Vu and her OST Shadow that she did with Siyeon. A note on pronouncing their names... Romanization sucks so seeing "Siyeon" has misled you. With Korean grammar stuff 시연 sounds like she-yawn. "SI" comes out as SHE. There are two Y's in Yoohyeon's name yoo-hyawn, same ending as Gahyeon. About Gahyeon, Dami, Sua, and especially Dong (Handong): the first letter is very soft practically kah-yeon or tah-me (Romanization sucks). A hard bursty first sound is a different letter in Korean and can change into different words like Dong into poop. You mentioned Ateez, fun fact the music duo who make DC songs (Leez and Ollounder) are on the team that does Ateez songs. In Sua's solo No Dot you'll really be able to tell.

All the members can sing including Dami. She even has a special cover video of just singing. SuA is main dancer and even though she doesn’t rap anymore in title tracks she does in covers and I think a couple b-sides?(not sure I think so). Definitely check them out live. Cannot go wrong with that. Also depending on your view of spoilers you can check out a guide. There are some great ones. So you can see what the girls are like and their talents. Great work. Their live performances are genuinely amazing. You should check out a guide or something if you want to get to know them better. The "Who are they 2021 guide" by dreamwolfie is really good and includes their solo works and updated positions and the "ultimate 2021 guide to dreamcatcher" talks about their other aspects most guides miss out on more. If you're worried about spoilers then these guides don't really spoil anything outside of the skippable music section and when showing off their vocals or solos (in Siyeon and Handong's case).

Even if you have a bias in Dreamcatcher, they're _all_ your bias. Siyeon had had me since I discovered them, but everyone wrecks me on a minute-to-minute basis. They're _all_ all-rounders. Every one of them will sing your socks off, they dance like this while singing live, and while they don't always show it off, _all_ of them can also rap. You're right picking out Siyeon as main vocal and SuA as main dancer. Your pronunciation of Siyeon's name had been pointed out, but it's "Yoo _Hyeon;"_ the H is actually more 'silent' than the Y. And Gahyeon is indeed a disrespectful maknae. Not deliberately, but she often forgets to use proper honorifics with the girls; luckily most of them don't actually mind (SuA's a stickler, though 😜)...

Their company gives them lots of freedom as creators, and provides waterfalls of covers, vlogs and assorted content for us fans, which is just so refreshing. No Kpop group has choreo as difficult as theirs. No Kpop group has every member a top level vocalist. Dami and Gahyeon are the rappers now, but Sua was rapping in their early songs before she decided to concentrate on vocals. Siyeon is also a good rapper, but being main vocalist keeps her busy. Dami can also sing in traditional Kpop girl group style, high and sweet. She has a solo clip called Rockabye if you want to hear her singing voice.
