Silent night is the highlight of dreamcatcher's concerts, they repeat the drop until the audience and members can't jump any longer😂 I think in Paris we got it 9 times last tour, 100/10 recommend the concert experience! We've been begging for a concert version for a while

Silent night is "that" song at DC concert. Everyone goes crazy when the outro comes. Since Silent night received so much love from InSomnia, Ollounder and Leez released an ultimate version of Silent night - one of the most famous Dreamcatcher title tracks: Scream. Raid of Dream is such a great album for having arguably the best title track ever "Deja Vu" and one of the best BSide "Silent night" (if not the best since it's definitely the most played bside at their concert, they even have a remix version for silent night's outro during Luck inside 7 doors Tour recently )
Silent Night Story Time: the song had gone to the back burner, it was on rotation with some others but you didn't hear it most concerts. Then Halloween 2022, like a glorious Dreamcatcher rising from the Minx, their concert in Seoul had a live band when they played Silent Night. Then -instigator- leader JiU, quite innocently, said " Wait. Tonight we have to do this. Han bon!". They actually played the outro one more time and moved on. The next January they went on tour through the US on the Reason:Makes tour, played Silent Night every concert, ad libbed new ways of shouting ONE MORE TIME at every stop, and like everything the members and Insomnia have fun playing with... things escalated. Hey Siri, ONE MORE TIME!!!! 🎉🎉🤟
Silent Night is their ultimate concert track. JiU recently said she wants to repeat the end 11 times. I swear that girl feeds on the energy from this song. All the other members will start waning and showing a little fatigue, but JiU will just keep going. Talk about Energizer Bunny. Once you get to a Dreamcatcher concert, you will understand. Honestly, I expected "We Are Young" to replace "Silent Night" in their concerts, but it seems JiU is not ready to let it go yet. I really think you should watch a concert clip of Silent Night just to see what they do with it, but at the same time, I'd rather you experience the first time in person. The concert version of Curse of the Spider will be one of those tracks that will bring in new fans from the rock genre. In regards to Polaris, HanDong has done a medley of DC Ballads, including Polaris, Jazz Bar, Heart of Sunflower, and Daydream. It's a compilation of those songs, translated into Chinese by HanDong herself. I can imagine We Are Young to be the final song of their concerts. I know they go for sentimental and Jiu always looks sad when it's time to say goodbye, so an upbeat with endless "woah" chants and party along the aisle until the ushers kick us out for fire safety 😂 would be fun.
Polaris is a song that never really made me tear up, until Handong went to China for Youth with You. I saw a fancam from one of the first concerts without Handong and during this song the other ladies were fighting to hold back tears. Shifted my perspective on the song and really makes it feel even more emotional to me. Also I will jump on the "watch the self-made curse of the spider mv" bandwagon. All of their self mades are worth watching but Curse of the Spider is over the top fun. Even if you do it in your own time amd not for content, highly recommend.
Not sure if you are only watching “official” clips/MVs, but with Tree of Language being the next album, a recommendation for a special clip to get the full experience of Jazz Bar would be to watch a live/fancam version; personally I would recommend one from the Apocalypse: From Us show in Toronto…..

There is a 15min video or videos of Silent Night. Mostly fancams in concerts. Just Silent Night. Polaris will always be a sad song for me, tearing up every time i hear it. The history of this song, when they were on a tour WITHOUT Handong during her being stuck in China, they cried during concert when her part came on. There is a fan video of this you can search it. This is one of the best albums by them. It's a norm in Dreamcatcher world saying "i love this song" at virtually every song. Dreamcatcher.

Yay, more DC! Such a fantastic album! ♥ "Deja Vu" was the first Dreamcatcher (and k-pop) MV I ever watched and it's still one of my favourites! I was hooked the moment the chorus set in! And "Silent Night" live is just legendary and another favourite! One more time!!
Raid of Dream is, hands down, my favorite Intro from all of their albums. Normally, my rankings of Dreamcatcher tracks changes daily and is a tough task, but this has always consistently been at the top of my list every time I hear it.

Raid of Dream to me is THE Handong mini album hahaha. The contrast that we get with her vocals in Deja Vu with her part when she starts Silent Night. It just captured me with those two very different feelings. Also regarding the japanese songs, check out Silent Night japanese version, to me it has a much darker tone that the korean version. It's also interesting how Gahyeon took over Handong's parts because she was still in China at the time.
You know Polaris will always be a Heartbreaker. Great Reaction, as always. I love that you're checking out the Relay dances. From Deja Vu onward the relays only get better, more complex, and humorous. I hope at some point you react to the Dance practices, especially from Scream to now. Each Dance Practice is a masterpiece of of choreography. 🤘🙂👍
I always interpreted "Silent Night" as an anti-violence/war song. "A blade directed at someone else eventually returns": Violence begets violence, hate begets hate... Also the fact that the title is of course reminiscent of Christmas which is famously a time of ceasefire; and it wouldn't be the first time the phrase has been used somewhat cynically. Like in the Simon & Garfunkel song "7 O'Clock News/Silent Night" where they contrast the peaceful Christmas song with terrible things happening on the news. I believe "Polaris" is one of Handong's favourite songs, and this was the last album they released before her hiatus, and the other members cried performing it without her, because of course it was extra meaningful with Handong being far away from them, and the song basically being about exactly that (being away from someone you love and looking up at the same sky; or at least that's how I always interpreted it). Handong also translated some of Dreamcatcher's songs into Chinese and there's a video on Dreamcatcher's channel of her singing a medley of Chinese translations and "Polaris" of course is one of the songs 😭 (and also Jazz Bar, which is a song she wasn't originally in because it was from their album after this!) I definitely recommend checking out that video at a later time 😊

Thanks for your reaction to the whole album. The Curse of the Spider concert version has been on my playlist since it came out, it's really good. Silent night... ohmygod. the drop.... in Helsinki it was Dami's birthday and when silent night was playing, there was a pause. Insomnia Sang happy birthday to Dami. And then Dami said "one more time! and silent night started again and the members twerked for Dami, she got hit by many buttoms😂. And after that Dami danced with Moomin one more silent night.
I've always felt that Polaris is another love letter to InSomnia, just like so many of their ballads. Dreamcatcher and InSomnia will always find each other as long as we follow Polaris, the one star in the night sky that does not appear to move. It may take some time before we meet again, but we will have many new stories to tell when we do meet again. Tears are allowed.

I mean, the Nightmare Series albums + the raid of dream are done now, you're gonna watch the dystopia trilogy. I've been in this fandom since the start of 2020 and let me tell you, to this day, Raid of Dream places 1 and 2 on my all time top songs from them, 1 being Deja Vu and 2 being Silent Night. Not only is this album way too good, but Silent Night is an amazing song and the experience is unparalleled. My dream is listening to it live - specially since they make it an entire part of the encore by having the last part played over and over 😂
If you have time, try to watch the live version of Polaris in Milan, It was their first concert without Handong (stuck in china due to covid) you can see the infinite Love they have for each other, and i cannot listen to polaris without shedding a tear now.

In a short time after Polaris got released, this whole album, Handong left to China, and the members had their first ever concert without Handong. When Polaris Played, everyone was crying.

They did an amazing job with the Curse of the spider 2024 remake. The harder rock that they added in was perfect and not to mention we’re able to hear the growth in their vocals and it’s so cool. I think I prefer the 2024 version a little more now actually…😂
