Dreamer D68 We have changed things around.
Hello and thank you for tuning into our channel.
In this video we have changed some things and added some extras and wanted you to have a look and see if they appeal to you in your van.
When we got home from our European trip we wanted to improve those little niggles you get when in your motorhome. After 5 weeks away we found just a few.
Please leave a comment, if we can help you in any way just shout out and we will reply.
I will leave some links or descriptions in case you want to search for them yourself for your van, if not just enjoy the video.

I hope you will follow us on our journey and find our videos satisfying, interesting and funny in some parts.
Thanks for watching and please subscribe and hit the like button.

Hi Jim and Kay hope all is well. We now have our own Dreamer D68 called Dolly we love it. In this video you talked about Duvalay Sleeping Bags. Do you still like them? Are you glad you brought them? Also what size did you get to fit your mattress? Also do you have a set up to drain your grey waste when you are on a service pitch? My colpaz adaptor and pipe won’t fit any more. Thanks for any advice and safe travels. Where you off to next? We are off to Normandy next month. John & Debra

Hi John and Debra, Great news that you now have your van and I am sure you will love it. Yes we love the Duvall sleeping bags, it’s easy to make the beds and they are comfortable.. they are expensive though, we ordered the Duvall Freshtec Sleeping Bag Bundle. Sizes are 66cm width x 4cm Depth. You get the sleeping bag, mattress, cover, summer quilt and pillow case, you also get a spare sleeping bag, winter quilt and pillow case. We find that when away for a while you have a change of bedding so you can wash the other set. You could probably get away with the next size up, but we are ok with these. The drain empties very fast on ours, so we use onsite Motorhome points or if on a field let it slowly drain as instructed by the stewards. If no empty points and we have had a few, we empty at side of the road over a grid. ‘ grey waste only” it’s easy to judge, just line the grid up with the handle and it’s just in the right place, it goes straight into the grid. We are off the stone this weekend, just for a few days, then it’s a cruise in a couple of weeks. I am sure you will love Normandy in the van, it will be fantastic. Just wired in a 2000w inverter, because when we were on a DA a couple of weeks ago our power bank packed up and we had no electric, we were gutted 😞 I Anyway we’re sorted now. Lovely to hear from you, enjoy the van and please let us know how you get on. 👍😀

hi both love the tou Tube shares and especually the recent europe trip. As we have have just had a new D68 in April we are find your guidance useful. I lack some confidence in making the adjustments you are making. One items related to the new plug points you have installed, did you cable these to the portable power device or splice them into the existing plug points. Would be useful to see a deeper dive on this when ou have the time. warmest regards Neil Jones

Hi Neil, yes I need to do a video showing some of the works I do because some people have asked. I am not an electrician but, I did my advance in city and guilds joinery which covered some electrical work. I have put a relay in from the power pack, so when the power pack is switched on it overrides other circuits and feeds all the plug sockets in the van. The extra sockets I fitted were spurred off from the kitchen front socket using special electrical connectors “ just for safety” also the circuit from the power bank, I put an extra circuit breaker again for safety. Saying all that the battery pack has a lot of safety features built in. The power bank is a no brainier for me, has a built in mppt controller and 2400w inverter with surge of 4000w and lithium battery. I am working on connecting my van Solar on a switch to power the power bank and also battery to battery charger to charge while driving. I will do a video when I do it. Hope this helps

@@jimandkay this is fab. We will look forward to any further updates. We had an additional external power spur added, so will look to see how they did it once we get home from a trip - Brecon area at the moment 😁
