I watched this video for hours and decided I wanted to turn my talent into something. Yesterday I got a call. I am going to Costal Carolina on a 70% scholarship now. See you boys there.
I dream about making it to the MLB every night. Everyday I think of what it's like to be in the MLB everyday I want to dedicate myself to train myself so I can make it to the MLB and the people that help me motivate myself, is my mom and grandma. RIP guys I'll make it for you guys someday no matter how hard it is.
+BaseballisLife14 I think about making it to the Big Leagues too someday but I have a mild Right-Sided Hemiplegia so it probably won't happen, the Hemiplegia sometimes gets me down like when I am playing soccer at school and I never get passed to because I am "Not good enough" or "too slow" but nothing gives me more satisfaction than proving them wrong.
I play baseball and I have a dream of making it to the mlb. Last year me and my team made it to states. We made it to the championship and won the first game of 2. In the second game we lost and watch the other team celebrate. It was devistating. That list has been with me for the last year and I have worked my but off. So when you are watching the llws look out for the team from Santa Rosa. This year we are going to win and prove to those who said we got lucky. We will win and no one can stop us!
I’m 14 and have a travel team tryout for the 3rd best program in North America. Nervous but determined and have been working my tail off. Wish me luck.
I am 13, it is February and I just got in from 2 hours of practice. I play every day even in winter for at least an hour and a half. I play every Sunday with high schoolers. But I am still told that I have a 3% chance of making the MLB. After watching this I will not stop till I am in the MLB!
BaseballisLife14 that's false, if you're really good and put the work in you'll have a really high chance to make . Plus there are 40 rounds in the draft.
This video puts so much motivation in me and should put it in y'all bc I want to make it to the mlb one day I want to be the starting Shortstop for the New York Yankees all of the bs I've been through I hate it family members with cancer people bringin me down bc I start at short for my high school team I'm a freshmen I'm telling y'all u will remember my name in the MLB just watch trust in God and work hard. "Anything is possible with God by your side"
Wow....I stumbled across this video by accident. I had no idea what to expect, but as a true, old-school baseball diehard, I figured I'd check it out. Man, I was BLOWN AWAY. Much love for putting this together. I look forward to checking out all of your videos. Thank you!
I haven't played a legit baseball game in almost 5 years (god damn). I've done some softball and all that, but it ain't the same. I was 16 then. I had a coach that was extremely pushy and had no idea what he was doing (I had to do a lot of coaching for my teammates), and one game, I had enough of it, when he decided to bench me in a game for not doing some dumb thing he wanted. I was taking that, hahah. I think that was the 2nd game of that season. 3-3 the first game with a leadoff homer, and 2 2-RBI triples. That game I was 1-1 with the only hit and a diving catch. Benched me. And I left. Anyways. That was the last game I played. I graduated high school later that year. Always had the dream of playing in the Majors, but I would've played in A-ball for the rest of my life if I could. My grades weren't anything to write home about and I didn't have any money, so college didn't seem too promising. So I joined that Navy at 17. Seemed like the good choice. But, I just can't get my baseball dream out of my mind. Planning on just throwing away the promising Military career when my enlistment is up and going to Europe to play if I can't find a good college that will let an "old man" like me play for them. Or get into the business side for an MLB team or an Asian team if I could. God I hope so. I miss baseball so much. But anyways, this video really got me going for when that time comes, hahah.
CNep99 Very inspiring. Reminds me of how good i have it to still be able to play ball. One day when i hang up my cleats, and my bat, and my glove. That's when it will really hit me, and remind me of how lucky and how blessed i was to play this amazing and beautiful game.
play 4 team france not too hard you might get listed as one of the 4 people selected 4 the MLB international camp 4 Europe.Dont give up u r right there
I was 21 and hadn't played baseball in 5 years too. I'm 42 years old and it's the biggest mistake I ever made. Don't hesitate when you have a dream like or you will regret it forever. Good luck and God bless! Hit one out the park for me!
I'm 14 I get to the gym at 4 o'clock in the morning every day I condition at 1 o'clock every day. Then at night I go to the baseball field with my brother. If I can't go because my brother can't I go to the gym again and work out until it hurts. I threw 50 mph last year now after a year I throw 79 mph.
Ok so I have a huge tryout tomorrow for a travel team(I am 14 and in 8th grade) I have been working my ass of but I'm still so nervous I don't even know why I'm commenting this I just need to get it out but I'm so nervous but I know one day I'm going pro I don't care if I don't make this team or going undrafted I'm going to find a way and not going to stop working
Jaspar Gucciardi dude, just because you have nothing good to comment doesn't mean you have to comment something and waste people's time reading it. You're not funny
I play to win, not to have fun because it's only fun if you win. And kids on my team (I'm 11 almost 12) sometimes say, "my parents tell me it's not about winning or losing, it's about having fun," and most of the time I say, "well then I hate to say it but your parents are probably losers."
I've been playing ball for as long as I can remember, baseball is all I've ever wanted to play. People have tried to put me down saying you won't make it your not strong enough not fast enough not smart enough but there will always be haters and one day I WILL show them that they were wrong and that I was right and that I'm playing the only sport that I've ever loved♥️ baseball is my only dream and I will make it pro one day
Lucas Maclan Do NOT tell me you just want the minors. You shoot for the majors, you try your hardest, you give it all you got, and you'll make it my friend. I don't even know you but I know you can do whatever you set your mind to if you want it bad enough.
yeah im 11 too and im working all day and all night im a shortstop/3rd basemen im the smallest on my team but one of the best hope you make the mlb and you get a golden glove but remember someone is always gonna be better then you but there is NO exuse for someone to work harder than you good luck man
I love baseball, I practiced it since I was 5 but never joined a team... I am 12 now, and am joined in a team too!! And I could hit homers, run fast, and catch the ball, and throw the ball far. My mom and dad thinks I am pro, most of the time i feel like I'm a pro too!!
i live in Chicago, and 13, and i dream to be an MLB baseball player, no matter how bad the cold is, no matter how I'm feeling, no matter nothing, i will put every muscle to baseball each day and some day achieve my long awaited dream.
Pain is temporary ether second minutes hours years or until the day you die it will go away eventually but are you whiling to push past the pain and reach your goals in life will you get up when you fall will you push with everything you got to make your dream come true!! If you do that you will reach your dreams..
Last year i was in a batting slump. The year before that one i was in one too. I worked my ass of during the winter and fall. And whenever i could during baseball season. Everytime, I would fix the problem then another one would come. I would drop my shoulder, i fixed that. Then i would pull my head out, then i fixed that. I would swing with my arms, i fixed that. Then i would drop my shoulder again. It was just a cycle. I am a big kid and i wasn’t living up to my potential. One night i was tired of it. I was really thinking about quitting baseball. I was gonna leave my favorite sport in the dust. But then i decided something. I could quit and never see what would happen if i worked as hard as i could or i could work as hard as i could and see what happened. I chose the second one. I tried everything. Private lessons, Extra BP, Medicine balls, and drills. I just couldn’t hit it. And a couple of days ago before a tournament my coach said i would go yard. I thought that i wouldn’t do it and i just worked three years for nothing because i couldn’t get that ball over the fence. So, the next day i got up to bat. I wasn’t nervous. I was batting 8th like i was for 3 years straight. I wanted to hit clean-up. The pitcher threw it was high. I knew i shouldn’t have swung but i did. Since the ball was high it evened out my swing. I opened my hips, eyes one the ball, and smacked it. It carried out of the park. Landed in the soccer field next to it. You had no idea how happy i was. And the next game. Guess what happened? I HIT ANOTHER ONE. I decided i will work harder and harder. I love this sport BASEBALL FOR LIFE
This video can be used for more than just baseball, it can for other sports like football or basketball, heck, it could probably be used for non-sports things!
This is amazing motivation it literally is amazing and I'm gonna use this video to help me because I'm 16 and I'm being recruited by colleges and I hope to play professional ball and well this video is inspiring me a lot thanks for this inspiring video
I'm 14 years old I play baseball and i will make it to the MLB no matter what I've been through to much to not make it everyone who told me I was never going to make it I'm never going to do anything I'm going to show them
Currently 5"1 freshman outfielder, what makes me different from the freshman team is I want to push myself mentally and physically, I'm striving to make the JV team, I am encouraged by friends on the higher teams, yet I'm doubted by those on my freshman team... why is this
I'm a junior and pitch for my high school. I wouldn't title myself as the best player on the team but I think I'm a pretty good pitcher. I don't pitch very fast but I can command my pitches very well. I'm getting discouraged about wanting to play for college. The school I'm looking at is a d1 and the other school is a d2 school. I just don't think I'm good enough to play at the college level. Can anyone give me tips?
A 10 year old kid. Me. I have a dream as well. My 3rd year of baseballs coming up. I feel like giving up. But today I went to that field I always play at. And I was better than ever. Its because I believed. That I would be a MLB star.
I'm a 13 year old girl and I've played baseball for 6 years and I'm in 15-16 age team because I worked harder than anyone else.... so yes it's worth all the pain and time that your goal takes....(i play Finnish baseball so it's a bit different it's called pesäpallo)
I can't see myself working a real job I can't I can only see my self playing baseball forever I am a athlete but at the same time I'm nothing, I get told that I will never make it that my dreams are stupid and sometimes I believe that. I want to become great I'm good but I wanna get great and sometimes I think the problem of why I'm not great is because I don't surround myself with people that want to great also
Same here man... As said, you want something. you go get it. Period. I'm 14 and was out for one entire season with a broken arm. I've been playing, but my throwing is inaccurate and my fielding ain't the best. Batting is A+ though. I want to make it as much as you. I've lost sleep for this sport and can't give up now or ever
Every time I watch one of these videos I just imagine myself as Byron Button. But then i realize how much he trained to get Thear and want to do that same thing but guess what, his parents were probably an average middle class family, he probobly didn't think that he would make it but he did. You know why he made it. He made it because he cared about it, he didn't give up, and he didn't care what other people thought, because if you care about what other people think, your never going to make it. You know why there saying stuff to you put you down, it's because they don't beleven you, and they don't think that you even have a chance. They think Thear helping you but if they knew what they were really doing they wouldn't say anything but good things to make you think they care.
I think about it all the time I want to be a pro baseball player and let nothing stop me from it I have dedicated my life to baseball it is my life I will be a pro player nothing will stop me remember my name
I didn't make the high school freshmen team and I've been told I'm good but I'm not sure I wanna try out next year because I don't want to get let down again
Don't give up Andrew. I got cut from my high school team, and now I'm playing college baseball. Keep pushing man! Go chase your dreams, you have to work through the pain...
Does any one here know what high school baseball coaches make there outfielders do. I want to be in the high school level before summer ends. Please help me out here I want to reach my dream of becoming a baseball player. please leave a comment
Alex Garcia Well, it varies depending on the school. For my high school baseball team, our coach hooks up a pitching machine, and launches them high and far. Then we have to catch them. Also a lot of drills and such.
