as a child I accepted the deed thing not because it made sense or I didn't know but because I was like "The law enforcement in Gravity Falls is really stupid so it probably works like that in Gravity Falls"
And now thinking about it Stanley probs wouldn't be able to challenge it in a bigger court because he would be taken for identity theft if he got too many eyes looking at him
That and Gideon has so much sway over the people of Gravity Falls he could probably say a law exists and unless proven otherwise people would believe him
actually after gideon gets the deed, he literally does say "here's the proof it's mine, stan gave it to me!" and everyone believes him because of his reputation and nobody believes stan cause he's a known criminal
22:22 I think what makes the deed thing forgivable to adult viewers is that in the next episode it isn’t just that he is holding the deed why he’s allowed to take over but also that the town blindly trusts Gideon and believe him when he says that Stan gave Gideon the deed
When Stan talks about him doing boxing but he looks different than in A Tale of Two Stans. I just head cannon it as him not fully remembering what he looked like. But the actual explanation is that there were different designers for these episodes.
thanks for uploading these man, i' m 14 and i wanna make a cartoon in the future and i wanna be like doing writing and art direction n stuff yk main lead so listening to these r gonna help me out a ton :D
I’m so glad they stick with this episode and they did keep the bulldog. I feel like if they would’ve changed it. It probably would’ve been like other dream episodes like the one from My Little Pony that was very unnecessary, and crazy. Anyway, I love the way that Bill was introduced in the show, and I am glad that they put him in season one, and not introduced him in season two. who knows how differently that would be.
