Highly underrated. I'm not sure what made this movie so good, maybe Karl as Dredd or Lena as Mama, the choreography, the soundtrack, but it all flows so well and 100% worth a watch!
No politicking, no product placement, no moral lecture. A simple story well presented along the themes of 2000AD. The basics of filmography were followed. Little to no exposition, and none of the "grab my hand" or "leave me behind - I'm not leaving you behind" cliches. And no ego from the lead or an attempt to turn it into a comedy like 1995 Judge Dredd. This song was an exception, but I'd like to add an original score, rather than *depending* on existing music of the day. You can have some music of the day as it is something the junkies were listening to like where this was used, but the theme was original from Paul Leonard Morgan.
Petition for a virtual reality existence over the hacked/jacked metaverse... Fuck you Mark Zuckerberg!! Crash a damn predator drone into your private life beotch'
One of my favourite films honestly very underrated but hey its better like that it seems more exclusive. Who would have thought i would be playing cyberpunk many years later its a buzz 😎
I can't believe it's been ten years and still no sequel lol. Your video is absolutely perfect. Not e big fan of electronic style music but you did this one perfectly and the song really jams. I share your video often on Facebook.
this song was playing in the background of my dream last night and gosh took me like an hour or so listening to every electronic music i know to finally find this song. man i used to play this song on repeat.
For years Blade runner was my thing...now finally!! Vitalic has surpassed my every nuance ..you deserve millions VITALIC! this goes out to honer you... not you mortals that consider a vibe as something else in your statements ...this is GOLD! ,,mark my words you'll hear this in time to come.
I've only just noticed that the film intentionally uses a sickly lighting colour pallet of yellows and greens to invoke unease and tension in the viewer.
I know man. I love the film. I just meant that when designing the effect they were like "use greenish yellow since it'll make people feel slightly ill looking at it". It's basic colour theory.
It's a psychological trick that colour theory experts use in media. In Half Life 2 for example there's a corridor where you walk down from warm light into sickly coloured light as you approach a torture chamber - it's intentional.
they use this a lot in video games now, valve where/ are awesome for a lot of the scene setting and the way the games just made u feel, fallout 4 they used this in a big way throughout the game mixing emotions with different lighting
I know they are making a Dredd TV show but this film still deserves a proper sequel with Karl Urban. All they need to do is market it better than with "Dredd 3d", it would probably get alot more viewers.
Unfortunately the 3D was the bit that put me off 2D films all the way for me or at least a choice, a new film is needed as this one was brilliant but the film I really want is Rogue Trooper :D
If this gets a Netflix series, then the dark judges would be great for that, now that Anderson has been introduced and we also need judge Hershey bringing to the screen :D
Great movie, great song, series are coming out this year, hooray. Let's just cheer and watch guys. Song is great in the way of transfering the atmospere and such gritty and violent setting of the film.
@@jcdenton9844 it was mentioned somewhere, that the series "Megacity One" is in the pre-production. Seems like the project is currently frozen for the undefined time.
Exactly my friend! I was hoping, after they got Keanu, they might add Dredd armor and the weapon as well. Maybe Lawmaster too? Even if it was separated paid dlc I would buy it. I love Judge Dredd :D
I agree but I also feel that the way they did it puts you in the shoes of the Judges, in the sense that the interlude on the half pipe outside is just as relieving and refreshing for th viewer as it is for the charactets.
@@Peoples_Republic_of_Devonshire I wonder what the range is on that remote control bomb, so throws her through the window after giving her an hit of slowmo? Lol
I've been looking for this for ages and it just played on tv for some amazon advert. After consulting that all knowing being called google I ended up here!
Lol same, arrived few days to UK only to hear it while passing near TV that isn't even mine. I knew I know it, Google second later I realized it was used to pitch the awesomeness of judgment scene. Seen this movie few times in a row before lol!
Awesome tribute to judge dredd with Karl urban and awesome tribute to the soundtrack too in same time.... the best I watch until now 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏 in my favorite play list youtube for ever ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome and timeless work! This is my favorite video for this song and the best Dredd video being aired. Where did you download the footage from and how did you get license to sample?
