Thank you so much for the bit replacement tip. First, I didn’t even know how to get that out. I thought it was gonna like open up automatically and it didn’t so thanks again for your help.
This is actually really helpful, and its because you did well showing us all the parts and features of the tool. I liked that you also tested it. Like(y)
It was/is more helpful than you think. Thank you for this video-it helps this old broad with her first dremel. Oh, I had the same problem with the accessories container-had to rip both ends of the box open to get to the accessories. You vid made me laugh, and still does.
Sanding attachments are for softer materials, like PVC piping and wood. The harder, grinder attachment -- which you mistook for another sanding attachment -- is suited toward metals, like aluminium.
Hey Sketch, My housemate just bought me the same 200 series Dremel and OMG, I had the exact same reaction to the box (frustrating!!) I tried to tear into it with a butcher's knife after getting super irritated by it!! Thank god my housemate was there to rescue the knife and dremel from my tirade!!! You're hilarious!! Hahaha!! Now I must FOCUS hahaha...cough....hahaha
I got the same dremel as you and mine does not come with the collet to fit my bit in. It seems strange that I can't fit any of my bits into the actual tool. I don't see why they would sell the product that way
@@jordanbauman-putnam9524 not sure if you ever figured out your dremmel, but you have to take out the small silver clasp inside the collet, thread it through your bit then place it onto the dremmel and screw it down. I have same tool...good luck, you probably figured it out by now anyway :)
FYI aluminium clogs up conventional sanding belts and wheels, one way to kind of remedy this is using polish and re-applying once the polish wears off. You wouldn’t have that issue with mild steel or crs. Good video though.
WHY! , series 3000 it costs the same and it's a lot better , why buy s200? and for 10/12$ you can buy 300 "sending tools" on ebay :) , if you are looking for power go for s4000 it's really great ,much better than s3000 but unfortunately it costs a little more :(
Dremel is the evil brother of proxxon. Proxxon is much better to handle, cheaper, and less noisy. Dremel is much too big to do fine works with. And i think they make it intentionally noisy so buyers think its more powerful. But it isn’t. Also the holding mechanism is needlessly complicated. :-(
Attention millennial: that you know how to utter sounds out of your oral cavity doesn’t qualify you to presume anyone will reap any value from said sounds. The viewer requires more that just verification that you exist as evidenced by sounds and physical movement if body parts. The value of this video is the same as observing a tree blowing in the wind.
