Annika, I love the quality of your videos. You obviously take such time in making them good quality videos and content and I just wanted to make sure your work doesn't go unnoticed. You voice overs are always very articulated and your editing is always very good. I love the lines you draw over your actual lines so they show up better on camera. if too tight around the legs (for dresses that are tight fitting) - open the seams on the side of each leg and sew the sides in and down to hem them- creating side slits

I found an overall dress at a thrift shop and I have been wanting a pair of dungaroos but couldn't dream of finding one that fit my thighs. So I bought the dress and did something similar and they are now super cute and one of the few pairs that fit my body type. great video!

thank you for this! I did this to one of my sister's dresses yesterday. The legs of the shorts were initially too tight, but I added a strip of fabric between the front and back cutouts to add some ease and they look adorable!

I came here from r/sewing and now I want to try it! Much quicker than making a romper from scratch. I just want to add, since the redditor made a fail, you will need to sew the crotch seam low enough that the fabric can go all the way under your crotch without giving you a wedgie. It is easier to make it tighter than to loosen it afterwards. Save yourself some trouble: try on the dress and safety pin the center front and back together at a comfortable height, then sew the inseam no higher than this point.

Haha, i was thinking of this video because I thrifted pants with quite bad "crotchal bulk" issues xD At first I thought I could just downsize them by taking the sides in, but after identifying the real problem I realize that I have to seam-rip the front zipper and modify the crotch line, this is going to be a challenge!

I'd love to see a DIY hoodie! I haven't come across many tutorials. I have a big fleece blanket that's the size of a queen size bed that I want to turn into a functional hoodie but I haven't got a starting point
