I watched the show and Heather Duke didn’t even wear green that often. He/she wore black and white more often.

Ryan Stannard well wearing the same color every day gets boring eventually, besides, none of them really followed their color scheme like a uniform. Heather Chandler sometimes wore blue, Veronica wore pink and red and brown sometimes, and Heather Duke often wore yellow when she was missing Heather Macnamara. The only person who ever really wore the same colors were JD and Betty Finn. JD wore black and Betty was pink.

what was the honest point of trying to call them heathers if they don't stick to a signature colour i don't care if you wanna play with outfits but keep the colours consistent the idea of heathers is all the characters are colour coded to make you assume how they will act and subverts your expectations by making them much deeper characters then their colours lead on. So when you take away that colour coded idea well you subtract from the whole of the depth of character.

They are color-coded tho? But since the show takes place over several months instead of 2 to 3 weeks, they have to vary. You're not going to wear 1 color forever. Sometimes their color isn't a big part of the outfit (ie: Veronica's bag is the most consistent blue touch in her outfits and sometimes the only thing blue) so it's easy to miss. They also play on what color they wear to represent their current status or feeling (ie: Veronica wears a red jacket and has a red car when she finally snaps at JD and during the finale, Chandler wears blue when she loses status and is lost/forced to ride the bus with "commoners" and I think Duke has a yellowish outfit at some point when she misses MacNamara but I could be wrong about that part). My point is that they do follow the established colors and they also use it as symbolism

Ondina yeah I get that but the point is pathers does not use that at all and just throw their hands up in the air to whatever colour they want, pathers just has no subtlety or class for that matter

@@ondiiina okay you’re spot on with this comment, about Veronica with red and Heather C. with the blue and Duke when she wore yellow. And you’re right, wearing the same color every day would get boring and repetitive. Even in the movie the characters didn’t wear the same color as a uniform. Heather Mac wore grey, Heather duke wore purple, and Veronica wore all black sometimes.

Actually LIVING in Ohio, it’s kinda small town places here, Sherwood seems to be a small town which is only where the wealthy and rich mostly live (I.e Indian Hill, Milford,Loveland) the rich kids who can actually afford the style,cars,money to splurge while the diversity in those small town spaces are very small the heathers act as the “Big Fish in a Small Pond” the edgy and different are popular in some way

“How very” wasn’t even something Heathers created, it was already a saying in the 80s. So no, I don’t think they’re trying to make it that way. It’s more like a tribute to it in a way.

@@elimkwok938 I read the 3rd book and realized those movies were shit. Heather's was actually entertaining, unique, funny, extremly fucked up and suprisingly original. It wasn't a carbon copy of the original and it didn't copy mean girls (which is pretty much a less violent version of Heathers)
