I have nothing against him as a person but I'd love for him to be off this team. All he does is give up homeruns. I'm actually tired of seeing it but I wish him a full recovery and hope he lands somewhere else.

I feel so so bad for him😢. I must admit (why be a phony hypocrite)that as a die Mets fan,I didn’t want Drew Smith to be part of our bullpen and team going forward(he gave me agita every time he came out in a tight game). This feeling was NEVER personal,and was strictly from a production point of view as the rabid Mets fan that I am. On the one hand,I am relieved that he won’t be available to blow games for us in high leverage situations anymore,but on the other end of the dichotomy,I didn’t want it to end like this. At the proverbial end of the day,this is just a game and this is these guys livelihood we are talking about here. I hope the good LORD works it out for him and that he won’t miss a financial beat as it pertains to him and or his family 🙏🏾.
