Okay Stearns, I was wrong. 25 year Mets fan who was writing this team off a month ago and who wouldn't have? There is reason to be excited now. The offense is electric and there are very few weaknesses right now, but we need pitching help! The starting rotation has overachieved and the bullpen is in disarray! Diaz suspended and has a 4.70 ERA, Raley and Smith out of the year, and Ottavino looks completely washed up. We need an 8th inning set up man and a lefty specialist to back up Diaz, and we need a #3 starter if you want a serious chance to get out of a Wild Card round. And that's IF we get Senga back - if we don't, we probably need 2 starters and 2 relievers!
