This way you can structure your own practice time and follow along with the videos. As the song repeats, during the intro you can warm up and get used to the finger pattern. Full notation is posted in each video so you can follow along and get used to sight reading as well.

My name is Jake Pinnick and Wu Dao Music is my channel for uploading my ramblings via music. I am self-taught and very far from a professional musician but I hope that you enjoy these videos and find them useful. When I first began it was difficult to find good reliable resources for this instrument. I wanted to make something that is simple direct and clear for the Xiao so that I can structure my own learning as well as share with others this experience. To that end, these videos are a cutout of my own headspace and practice that I think are very valuable to others who are getting started with the Xiao. I hope that you find the value in these videos and come to enjoy practicing this flute as much as I have.
