By adhesive do you mean construction glue? What is mastic? Latex, acrylic caulking dries and cracks so do you recommend silicone? Your neighbour up in the Great North.

I am going to be posting a video shortly on the best adhesive sealants for roofs. I would recommend rain buster 900 or chem link m1

Hello Mr. Roof Specialist I just subscribed your channel couple days ago. I have 21 X 12 feet flat roof patio 30 years old. It was leaking. I removed all the old roof plus plywoods. I installed 9 - 1/2 inch plywoods. I just installed #30- Roof Felt ASTF- D-226- 2 SQ. I watched many videos from RU-vid but only your channel I did subscribed. I have been doing this myself for more than 2 weeks but not finish yet. I bought 3 rolls of GAF Tri-Ply Surface Granuleuse (BUR) Feuille de Finition from Homedepot and 4.75 Gallons Henry Roll Roofing Adhesive #203. Please help me with the following questions because Homedepot associates had no special roofers to help me: 1- Did I install the right underlayment on the plywood? 2- The roll GAF I will install for final is the right ones? 3- The Henry 203 that I opened already (can’t return) is the right one? I thought I think I will try finish my job tomorrow. If you can help me asap , I really appreciate for your help. I live in California. Note: I have a partial roll of Synthetic felt enough to cover my roof. Should I apply it on top of the underlyment , the final GAF? I am sorry for the long comment. Thanks a lot for your videos.

Thank you for this! My only thought is that perhaps the final sheet that you put down to protect that small exposed area should go on TOP of the corner drip edge? Because if it's underneath, you can get water flowing underneath the drip edge. What are your thoughts here? Thanks again!

Specs always call for the drip edge to go over the underlayment on the rake ends, but at the eaves to go over the drip edge, if any water gets on the drip edge you want it to flow on top of the drip edge and off the roof

I have drip edge and then the gutters were screwed into it. I am going to get a reroof. What is the best way to deal with that without having to remove the gutters. Note: I don't think my builder used ice and water so the shingles and felt paper could come off while preserving the existing drip edge. Or I was thinking covering with with gutter apron. Or I thought maybe use a grinder to cut the top edge off and then place new over the vertical part that has the gutter screwed into it and just treat that leftover gas if it's facia. Thoughts? I'm not going the work but I'm buying materials and have a say in how it's done. I'd think removing the gutters should be avoidable with a legit workaround.

You can go about doing it a few different ways. 1) you can leave the old drip edge in place and just install the new one on top. 2) you can remove one nail or screw ata time and slide the old drip edge out. 3) you can use a pair of metal snips, I think a grinder is overkill to cut out the old drip edge
