Very good video..I observed there was a bracket which u opened at the driver side axle n not on another site.. secondly how much gear oil to be added n how to check level is not clear..
Yes there's a bracket on driver side because driver side axle has center shaft and has more length than p. side. And it need 2.2 L of gear oil 75w90 or 80w90. For checking level jst open the filler plug put you finger inside and check how much below is the oil from filler hole. Mostly it would be jst below the plug hole opening.
Just rotate it freely, if it rotates with no or minimal play its ok. Else if it has a lot of play side wise or has a resistance to rotate needs a replacement.
The faulty axle that you removed was a non-ABS axle but the one you installed after had ABS cone rings on it. Does that mean can we use an ABS axle on a non-ABS car without any problem ?
The one is said as axle seal, If that seal has run more than 50k kms then its a good idea to change it. else no need. While placing the axle, be sure to apply some grease on that part where seal sits or will leak soon.
Sir alto k10 nondrive side axle k rubber k boot me se greas aa raha ahi pan Kat Kat ki avaj nahi a rahi to boot damage hoga to sir kahase change karavaye rubber boot ko service center ya local machenic se or lagbhag Kitna cost ahe ga sir plz reply
In my ford figo driver side cv axle outer grease is leaking and from few days ,i am observing little noise from driver side axle , should i lubricate axle with new grease ???
Bro as said the c welding won't work for shaft bracket, it need replacement. wrong centre of shaft will damage the gear box differential seals and wear the gears fast.
