the motor is a non vtec motor..she is twin cam and only made in japan..the block is a similar if not same design to a stock accord motor.the motor is a jdm f22b dohc.

miss my cb7 i got a cg3 as my daily now i wanna go h23 head but might just keep it stock since its reliable. was guna keep my old cb7 and build it but i moved on to 240's , planning on going ka-t but hey nice to see u built the f block and didnt do the typical h22 swap. Wish u the best bro.
Ignore my lack of knowledge but are turbo and nos two different things? And are they computerized once you put in a turbo or nos in a stock car? Sorry if it's confusing. Will 22000 last for a while if drive normally but yeah know once in while whip it down the high way or streets?? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!! Sick car by the way!.
Nos is not the same as a turbo.. a turbo forces air into the engine more than it gets without it and a nos is a gas sprayed into the intake in shots to increase power by burning even more violently that fuel can't do alone.
The motor could be vtec, he didn't put whether its a b1 or b2 to clarify that. But anyway Vtec and boost works just fine together, all Vtec is is the motor adjusting the valves so they open more. Its when you slap a turbo on an aluminum block motor like an H22 for example, that you run into reliability issues in the way of a blown motor.
not really man its a straight forward swap.like stock out and stock back in easy. just dont use the stock pt3/6 ecu it really holds this motor back.p39 or chipped and tuned..

I like that cb7 I got one just like it I bought it out the tow yard for 300 and it's stick shift to I put it on the crates and do donuts in it I dog the shit out of it I'm about to straight pipe it I already got the cold air intake i might flip my money on it and though it on Craigslist
i pieced it together over time...ebay charge pipes.greddy hks blow off tail wastgate.cheap ebay turbo that i had garret rebuild so its basicly a garret.rx7 style intercooler..dsm 560 injectors..walbro pump....theres more but it escapes me atm.
88-89 accord a different car all together.i know nothing about those cars but i do know they have been swapped you could prob use the same motor as mine with all your stock parts.i dont see why it wouldnt bolt up..it comes with the same motor as a stock 92 accord just .2 liters less...look it up google your best friend.
7 years late, but ey, better late than never right? it's pretty throaty with a good exhaust, i have an f22a (without the vtec) myself, sounds pretty good for a 4 cyl
321whp it had at that time.with my car was easy to get good mpg light foot and boost didnt kick till about 3k.oh wait by high way and city i ment between the 2 combined not both city and high way. sorry
