I am so glad that North Camden has got it back together and you could tell just by the video cruising the late 90s early 2000 you would have never been able to drive down them streets without being bombarded
@@bflo1000 They always show the bad parts of camden on videos like this, as if it's all we have. I live in south camden it's changed over the years, it's sad people are so quick to believe what they hear. I'm not sure what agenda the media is trying to push by talking trash about camden but it's very annoying.
The quality of the dashcam video is great. You had a good day for filming. Sometimes the glare off my dashboard/windshield hurts the quality of the video.
There is some nice architecture in North Camden, as well as good civic design. It's a shame the current locals don't keep the place up. But there remains enough good about the place to plan some long-term redevelopment.
Much of the town seems to have been revitalized. Overall it looks a lot better than Detroit. Not many people around. A few seedy areas, but overall didn't look too bad. How did that happen? I still see a lot of closed businesses and thus lost jobs.
Hi, I am a Rutgers-Camden student and I recently started a documentary of Camden. Could I use some of your footage? Credit would of course be given to you. -Skyler
i watched a lot of videos from camden, detroit, baltimore and other suburbs of the US. most of those places looked pretty bad. will the goverment do anything about it? it doesn't get any better by time...in 30 or 50 years it will be completly destroyed. where will those people live? and what will you do with the ruins? i don't think that there ever will be enough money to knock all those ruins down and build something new for the people.
Imagine if EBT didn't exist. Those Korean and Indian stores wouldn't exist and the Koreans and Indians would have to live back in their own broke ass countries.
dam i grew up there in the 80's and the early 90's....place still looks like shit....like that you went down state st....its funny that 711 is still there...lolol i remember walking from my house to there one time at like 11 at night and seeing a couple having sex behind the store in that ally .....that place was crazy...but i wouldn't be who I am today without it so thanks crazy camden
