..and heat haze, accurate rainbow, halo effect on sun, 3D clouds, physics on vegetation, realistic water behaviour toward weather, proper depiction of rain droplets, procedural lightning sprite in close up (and actually strike on any metal structure), real time global reflection, etc... DC is every graphic whores's wet dream come true.
*DriveClub facts about the sound* - Each reference car was fitted with at least 16 separate microphones to authentically capture the sounds of the engine from 360 degrees, inside and outside of the car. Some had four mics on the exhaust alone. - The recordings were so accurate that BMW and Mercedes-Benz AMG requested copies to replace their existing library. - In many cases, Evolution’s audio captures are the most high definition recordings of these cars in existence. - When you race, the engine sounds are different based on which of the six camera views you choose - inside or outside of the car. You’re not hearing the same engine audio with a filter - it’s all recorded separately.
1. Gran Turismo Sport 2. Driveclub 2. Project Cars 2 4. Forza Motorsport 7 Edit: But they are all very good, that’s just my opinion. However, Assetto Corsa easily has the best sound for that 6.5L V12, just listen to that Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce. P.S. it’s not a typo, I put Driveclub and Project Cars 2 at number 2.
Forza clearly has the most accurate sound. The V12 sounds like it revs to 6500 on GTS, Project Cars makes it sound like the car is using a sequential transmission and there is almost no gap between gear changes, Driveclub is just cartoonish. Forza replicated the V12 scream and the single-clutch most accurately. It's not even subjective, for this car Forza is accurate to life. Attend your local trackday and tell me it's not true.
NOT REALY mate if you were there at the presentation they have been working on this game for 10 years they said they were waiting for a machine to come out that would be powerfull enough so when the ps4 came out it was their chance they realy were prepared if you dont trust go to sonys ps4 event
GT Sport looks so damn good. After seeing Forza and GT's interior view one after another. It was looking like animated vs reality. You can actually even see the Alcantara material on the dashboard of the Veneno and the light reflections look just like reality 10/10 for graphics. Sound is very good too, just wish they'd work a bit on up shift noises from the 3rd person view. It almost just sounds like there's a mute in the sound for a moment and then the car continues to rev. Apart from that, damn amazing game
The Average MC Builder Sorry man, may have just been the echo off the buildings as it went by but it sounded an awful lot like driveclub. PCars2 and GTS sound lovely but I'm speaking from a realism point of view. On launch though, GTS wins. Going through gears after is Driveclub and PC has the best coasting sound.
Dominic Charles The thing about DC is, they mic recorded the sounds in a garage. So theres constantly this unnecessary deep echo no matter where you are in the game. PC2 and GT got the sound just right although missing some exhaust sound effects.
@@Manuel-zc7po umm it has really awesome graphics but did you don't think driveclub is also very good because it's an old game but still has unbelievable good lookinggraphics
@@VivekKumar-nh1id a game is not good just for graphics, Driveclub sucked in everything but not graphics. Just graphics. PC2 and GTS actually are complete simulation racing games that have damage, realistic physics, amazing handling, cars that sound real ect
Driveclub is still kick'n balls. From bad egg to beautifull Swan. It's my favourite game of the PS4 platform and i am suprissed how much people put DC on 1st place. Gran Turismo is also close to DC, supprised how Polyphony make sounds,in past GT games sound was terrible. Maybe it is because small cars and tracks content but anyway, hands down. PC2 is good, but i am discusted from Forza 7 performance, it looks like creators where in rush to give forza quicker than GT Sport. I also want to see comparision with Asseto Corsa
Forza 7 fucks up so badly, first off wrong V12, that’s generic/Murcielago V12. DriveClub sounds like tunnel record all the time but overall it sounds pretty good. PC2 and GT Sport are tied, each game doing something a little bit better than each other’s. PC2 shifting seems like when you shift it it’s hesitating what RPM it should land on or of some sort while GT Sport it’s like they’re letting off the gas each time they shift.
The details in GT are amazing! I know this is not the point of the video, but in cockpit mode, you can see the gear selector number-changing animation on the speedometer! Forza unfortunately didn't have it.
Wisedom Spreading Driveclub is true to life than those 2 because the wind is going through the car and make an echo, if you put a camera o the same angle as the game, you would obviouly have the simillar sound.
1. Driveclub (WOW just wow same pitch agressive and alive best one yet!) 2. Project CARS 2 ( While struggling to compare with GT sport PC2 takes second place) 3. GT Sport ( I cant believe it myself just that it needs to louder and meaner ala Driveclub) 4. Forza 7 ( I mean seriously wtf Turn 10 whyy so high pitched???)
SDSPOWER Sand Man PC2 and GT sport sound the most realistic. Drive club sounds like it's recorded in a tunnel all the time and lootbox Motorsport 7 didn't even get the pitch right
There are 3D trees in GTS, and ToD. Weather is present in some races, as well. May I suggest you do the tiniest bit of research before commenting, so that perhaps next time you don't make yourself look like a fool again?
iucidium1982 If you care about trees in a racing game, then you must be one of the people who listen to Nicki Minaj songs because of their lyrical depth.
The game turned out terrific, and there was never any question about Evolution's technical ability. However the studio was coming from a series of failures post Pacific Rift, and the Driveclub development was mired by poor management of the project. In needing to cut costs that left Evolution in a bad position of, at the time, being the least profitable of all the Sony first party studios.
The driveclub and FM7 versions are the ones that sound the least like the real-life counterpart. Have to give it to GTS here, even if it's a little bit muffled. THE PC2 sounds close aswell, but the upshifts and downshifts are just completely wrong.
1.Gran Turismo Sport 2.Project Cars 2 3.Driveclub 4.Forza Motorsport 7 I'm really a Forza nut, but Turn 10 got lazy and recycled Forza 6's veneno sound and pasted it here. They got the Veneno's sound spot on in FH3, why ruin it? I don't know when will T10 learn from their mistakes...
Love GT Sport but I have to give it to DriveClub especially the detail in the car models. Before anyone comments the photo mode in DC you can access during races and zoom right into the cars for amazing detail (try zooming in on the tyres and wheels O.O) In GT the photo mode can only be used during replays ( these have added effects and details in post processing ) yet if you zoom in on the wheels they are blurry and have ps1 textures, quite sad really. Seems they put all their time into scapes which is cool but limited. Why the hell did Sony close down Evolution studios I can only imagine what DC2 would of been like.
minners71 DRIVECLUB and GTS use in game car models no trickery there yeah GT Sport's car tires are less detailed but the rest pf the far more important esthetic details are more fleshed out in GTS compared to DRIVECLUB. Body work is almost completely smooth throughout in GTS where DRIVECLUB can come up a bit short also many small elements in the car models are different between GTS and DRIVECLUB especially regarding headlight and taillight details. GTS winds up looking much closer to the real thing (compared to pictures of the real thing). This isn't a knock against DRIVECLUB I know DRIVECLUB's world is far more believable overall however GTS isn't far behind graphically while it also managed to double framerates over DRIVECLUB and improve car handling. DRIVECLUB's handling model wasn't as unrealistic as many reviewers made it out to be either though the developers said they weren't focused on closely simulating reality.
I think you should enable camera shake in Forza for your comparisons. A lot here comment about the sense of speed of Driveclub, which is partially achieved by camera movement and shake. At the same time a lot complained about the shaky camera and hands so Idk.
Another thing driveclub should get praised for is its sense of speed , the games got the best sense of speed I’ve ever seen in a game , u actually feel like ur going 200+
Not quite. The FOV in Driveclub is not much different than the others. However the game was designed with the idea of maximizing the sense of speed which means there were elements designed with this in mind such as the narrower tracks, the (high resolution) motion blur, the subtle (and natural) camera vibration, and the forward motion of the vehicles being a tad faster than the others.
I want warn you guys that DriveClub uses some kind of stereo effect that simulates the head moving up-down left right and it does some interesting channel changes, BUT i think this does not translate to better sound overall. I think PCars2 have this one.
Well. In terms of graphics DC is amazing, but it looks like it’s quite easy to corner at 200kmh without any problems. FH has good differentiation of sounds from inside and echoes. GTS has better animations in the control and the engine sounds more accurate. PC is a step behind.
Sound 1 GTsport/driveclub 2pc2 Forza 7 sounds like shit again Graphics 1driveclub 2gtsport /pc2 3 forza7 Physics 1pc2 2gtsport 3forza7 4driveclub Gameplay All of them
I've never heard a Lamborghini Veneno in real life, and probably never will, so I can only go by what I think sounds the coolest. Driveclub for da win.
The first time i played driveclub in 2014 i was like "damn them graphics and sounds i wonder what Will come next" and now i'm like waiting a game that does it better than driveclub
Driveclub has realistic sense of speed, the others, 150mph feels like 60mph. If Driveclub received a pro patch, with increased anti-aliasing, 60fps, and more cars; none of these games would stand a chance.
I'm a huge fan of forza and i hate GT Sport, but this time the sound beats forza 7, in gt sport is more realistic, but in forza is like RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Driveclub = sound recorded in a tunnel, best graphics of them all Forza 7 = generic lp640 v12, great graphics GT Sport = had the right sound yet it seems like it's powershifting, best graphics next to Driveclub(especially that gear change animation on the dash board like in real life) Project Cars 2 = had the right sound yet it seems like everytime it shifts the rpm shakes a little similar in NFS Carbon, has great graphics but its the worse when compared against these 3
DriveClub- Camera shake effect gives it the greatest speed sensation Project 2- Most realistic driving and weather. Bad career mode. GT Sport- Cool concepts that get boring after a week Forza 7- Heaps of cars but graphics do not compare to other games. Its bought only because of Forza's reputation of big games. AKA: iPhone
Driveclub - The game where the car growls to life. Forza 7 - Best overall. GT - Best for the game with the best attention to detail. PC2: Best simulation out the bunch.
