Driving a 500bhp Porsche Cayman GT4 RS at the Nürburgring!

I was given one lap to learn this INCREDIBLE 500bhp Porsche Cayman GT4 RS at the Nürburgring before I began instructing my friends from Texas (you can see THAT video later this week!)
Although I knew the track well, with a EDIT £100,000 (the £30,000 was a BMW M2) damage excess hanging over me, I needed to balance speed with caution to make the most of my learning lap.
Add to this cold tyres and totally unknown track conditions (this was the first lap of the day!) and you have a recipe for potential disaster. Oh - and the parking brake warning light is stuck on.

Yeah it was lovely. Just wish I had a second lap to actually lean on it. You can’t go all-out on the first one but by the end of this lap I’d learned so much about what I could get away with.

@bradphilpot I used your video as a general reference before I did two laps in RSR's GT4 RS Weissach. I am no where near the driver that you are (much less your students). I'm curious if there's two or three points that stand out to you about this car compared to Porsche's other GT offerings.

Hello! That’s really cool to hear! To be honest, I don’t get to drive this kind of car very often, so I don’t really have a very good comparison with other high-end Porsches. I’d say, the obvious ones will be the weight distribution being more neutral and balanced in the Cayman - the noise was fantastic - although probably just as good in Porsche’s other models. How did you find the car? Was it the grey one?

I would have blown the 10k immediately into the back of the first car. Epic driving my friends keep trying me to take my M3 or CLS55 AMG around there but thinking something bad might well happen. Maybe you could take me around in my CLS and show me the score.
