This might be the weirdest Top Gear episode I've ever seen.

You know you're at an all time high when you call a rocket engineer to see how far you can go as a grown man on a pink power wheels car

That Honey ad was actually really smooth. Instead of it just being William talking about Honey, he jokingly interviewed Honey employees, causing them to explain how Honey works and is able to keep functioning, thus making it look better.

When you literally consult a NASA engineer about a small toy car.

I remember as a child; my parents won a Barbie Jeep for my twin sister, but she was too small to drive it so I would drive her where she wanted to go. My parents wanted to be fair for us so they bought a boys power wheels trike for me, but my sister could drive that and couldn’t drive the Jeep. In the end, I ended up driving the free Barbie Jeep, and my sister drove the boys motorcycle.

I'm actually curious about how the conversation went down for Ian to get involved... I picture William just calling and asking "Wanna do something stupid, that's probably going to physically hurt you, and possibly going to expose you to toxic fumes, when it catches fire?" And Ian didn't even have to know any details, and was already, all in.

Me: “Can we have 24 Hours At Le Mans?” Mom: “No we have 24 Hours At Le Mans at home.” 24 Hours At Le Mans at home:

Mark is like: "I did not go to uni for years and worked at NASA for several more years for this... but man do I enjoy this"

I was dying when they actually dragged Mark freaking Rober in to do some basic math for them. It's exactly the kind of thing I expect from these two.

Driving in a barbie jeep at night on a busy road is such a vibe

The editing in this video was just so perfect. I loved the energy the both of you had, plus the way the car would just STRUGGLE to take curbs and stuff was so hilarious. The added bonus of your guys' legs sticking out of the thing while driving with the other one running along side it was so funny. I loved the moment where Ian was like "WE ARE ALLMOST... AT THE QUARTER MILE MARK!" and you just respond with 'Are we actually? *dies*" Great video, great video.

When I was a toddler, I had the Jeep at 1:15. Unbeknownst to my mother, I drove it all the way to my grandmother's house in the next town over. Granted, the next town over is a six minute walk , but that was HUGE for a toddler.

I feel like Caretaker left him and he's just losing his mind.

A grown man in blue hoodie driving a pink Power Wheels car asks if he can get a chicken sandwich. You tell him that he has to order in his car. He tries to explain that its his car for the day. You still tell him no, as his car is just a toy car. He sighs, and whirs off into the parking lot, asking people if they can order for him. They also decline, and before too long you hear him say "If I don't get a spicy chicken sandwich, I'm gonna go buckwild," He then whirs into the distance, never to be seen again.

Mark Rober gets called Me: oh he's going to engineer a battery that works for 24 hours cool Ian: Mark help, what is 24 * 5??

Imagine doing all of this and still only being a 15 minute drive down the road.

I got one of these as a child and my dad, who used to work as a car mechanic, decided that "nah, that things too slow", so he basically removed all the electric components and replaced them with stronger alternatives, the thing was powered by 3 car batteries and had a top speed of almost 40 km/h. He later made it slower because the wheels wore down wayyy too fast.

When you got to the pier it reminded me of this one time I said screw it and drove to Santa Monica pier and back (from Phoenix, AZ) because I had never seen the ocean and wanted too. I sat on the bench at the end of the pier sooo tired looked just like y'all did lol. Took a nap in the car and drove back home.
