In this video we road test a beautiful Ferrari 360 Spider with a manual gearbox. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Crema leather with Challenge grilles, this gorgeous prancing horse sounds glorious with its 3.6 litre V8 engine.

I’m lucky enough to have a well spec’d coupe 360 with carbon seats, manual etc……Having come from a 997 Porsche Turbo which was quicker, more reliable, prettier at the front……but was just a bit devoid of character. These have been overlooked for sometime in favour of the prettier 355 or the more accomplished 430 but they are a massively important transitional car for Ferrari and a perfect mix of old and new tech. ❤

Yeah the romance of the 355 begins to fade once you get the first service bill(s) and at twice the price for a comparable manual equipped 430 you’re not getting twice the car so the 360 is the clear winner in that comparison but I will say that if anyone wants the best performance bargain an F1 equipped 430 is the buy.

How in the world you consider any 997 prettier than a 360 Modena, are you blind? The 997 is probably the ugliest 911 of them all and they are not Mona Lisa to start with btw.

very nice video! I've had 2 manual modenas and I can tell you that the 1st-2nd gear issue is real on some cars. It's very difficult to put 2nd gear when the car is cold, and you need to be careful not to burn the clutch when engaging 1st. But it doesn't happen on all cars! My Blue TDF had that issue but my grigio titanio doesn't.

All the best cars were built around the turn of the century.... everything has gone backwards since. Cars have become fat, bloated , unfixable and too full of useless gimmicks . I include all makes .... as well as Ferrari.

Bro i still dont fking get why does new ferraris except the 812 superfast..none sound like ferrari anymore..the italian ferrari v8 sound high pitched screamer and everyone knows its a ferrari..today the vi sound dull down and shit and boring..such a shame since today i saw a f8 tributo and it was such a gorgous car sadly it sounds boring
