no we have to wear the camo as part of a uniform as its retired army vehicle, we dont wear beret's with regiment colours or that stuff. We run the largest tank driving ventre in UK and do test work for the MOD and also advertising work like this :)

+SuperDosel They usually get special rubberised tracks that don't damage the road - obviously steel tracks would tear up the asphalt ESPECIALLY when turning, and it doesn't just cost the road - tracks are very expensive to maintain and replace, so yet another reason for rubber tracks.

Ahmed El Mohammad Actually, guns are allowed in the UK, but you have to have a fair amount of paperwork and an inspection from the rozzers. As for the tanks, they have requirements such as a side mirror, rubber on the tracks, lights, deactivated gun and you need a category H license. I suppose the US would be similar, however I don't know about the story over there.

well,. not to sound like an ass, but they ARE Legally allowed to own one. I know that in the U.S You need a Shot gun License to own this, dont know how the laws aply in the U.K after the 1997 Gun Ban, wich is still annoying as Hell. But if you got the paper work, and a Lota Ca$h, you can own a Tank. Just dont expect to get any decent to Good Gas Millage? A Sherman Tank for example, does 4 Gallons to the Mile. - NOT 4 miles to the gallon.... Just save up those gase stapms at Shell =P
